These came really well wrapped. They were oiled up. I don't know if it was just to make them look shiny or what. Over time being in the sheath they have rusted on both sides. I never used them. They had sat in the sheath. They're well done and very sharp but I wouldn't recommend them as a sitting object like a collector item more of a tool to be able to use and not care if it's broken down

I took off the wrapped up handle to see why it was so bent looking.Found that the tang had been broken off and welded back on and covered up.The blade also had large area that had rust polished off, which removed the etching down to bare metal.Very disappointed I paid hard earned money for this now useless blade.Will never purchase from this company again.I do not recommend there metal work.

I really like the Damascus profile in the forge, it goes all the way though the tang.The only negative is the handle but I didn’t get it to use just display,I also do my own sharpening but it had a decent edge.btw it’s not made in China

Great machete came sharp

The blade is excellent. No handle with blade merely wrapped in leather tape which becomes very slippery with sweat or rain. I hand-crafted a wooden handle making it much sturdier and safer.
