Works well
The only reason i give 4 stars is because there is no bug netting for midges, this is a must in UK

Packs so small
Very useful item to keep your sleeping bag dry in your tent or under a tarp, I have a down sleeping bag which needs to stay dry and this bivvi bag does the job well. It also adds another layer of trapped air which helps to keep you warm. This is a high quality item, the fabric has a nice feel to it, the seams are taped and the zip feels like its good quality. It also packs up small and light. I've used it several times and I'm very happy with it.

EXCELLENT BIVVI BAG
This is a lightweight packable and excellent bivi bag. In winter my sleeping bag lives the SF Bivvi ready to go. It adds another level of waterproofing and warmth. In the summer I have even used it on its own to keep the wind and rain out. I have no real complaints although the hood might be slightly larger to allow me to stow all my kit inside. I am ex Army and this is really so much lighter and better than the standard Army issued bivvi. Love it and a lifesaver.

Won't regret buying.
Although the item wasn't right for me in the end due to condensation making my sleeping bag wet, the customer service was unmatched by anything I have seen before. I got a full refund and felt I was in friendly, safe hands.

Snugpak | Special Forces Bivvi Bag | 100% Waterproof
I would on all accounts say that the Snugpak SF Bivi is all-but perfect; waterproof and very lightweight. However, it's major downfall is that it does not 'tight up' with the, the named SF sleep system - the two aliening zips do not hook/button or clip together. Also, the two hoods do not marrie-up, again with some spaced popper connection.Regards Sgt RichardEx-SBA Sargent

Had it for a year and it’s done all I’ve asked for it so far
Done what I’ve asked it to do, Here and there I’ve had some issues with condensation but it’s a bivy and it’s part of the territory. Some may say the zip come back down too easy but it’s part of the design to be a quick release factor of it and can be used in part with the snugpak special forces sleeping bags. Worst I’ve had with me, the snugpak tactical 2 sleeping bag and pad fully inflated is it zip down 2-4 inches below my delt

I was sent the wrong version of this but sent it back as material didn't live up to its promise
I am 6'4 so need the larger zip version but vendor sent the snugpak non zip version. Despite this I tried the bag inside a tarp cone set up which initially I thought had done well. The weather was appalling so the test only lasted an hour but in that time I found the underside of the air mat was soaked so the bivvy bags claim to be 100% waterproof is false. I would guess the hydrostatic head is probably only 2000mm as the bag seems to be made of the same material as their tarp. I also found the bag to be too narrow and hence restrictive for me but I am a large person. If you are going out in good weather this will be fine but it is a lot of money for a 2 season bag.
