Argo Baking Powder - 12 oz, Pack of 2

I will not bake with baking powder that contains aluminum. I like the two pack, I use enough that I don't have to worry about it going out of date. I like that it comes sin plastic and not a metal can. It would be nice to have the scrapper lip like on the metal cans but not a deal breaker as this is a quality product with no nasty aluminum taste to mess up my baking.

This is the brand I use, you can't beat the price and the size is doubled. It works well, there is no after taste, the container is strong enough to prevent leakage. I can trust the baking ability of the brand.

Argo baking powder has no aluminum in it. This is very important, because baking powder with aluminum can give a metallic or tinny flavor to your baked goods. I ruined a whole recipe of corn bread by using a baking powder with aluminum. Yuck.Also, I really like the packaging. It’s a nice cube shaped plastic container that fits very nicely on my pantry shelf.

the stores have these with aluminum and theyre horrible, glad amazon handles these

I got value for my money

I make blueberry muffins every week. I was using Walmart baking powder. Lately it has been full of lumps. I couldn’t breakdown the lumps. I decided to try Argo baking powder. My first bake the muffins rose so high l couldn’t believe it. I’ll be using Argo from now on.
