A little talent goes a long way
I’m giving this 5 stars as it’s immaculately researched and well written. I’d give it 2 if it was for likeability. It’s hard to imagine that Rumours - the soundtrack to my formative years - was written as a result of their hatred for each other. And boy, did they hate each other. Nicks and Buckingham had a ridiculously childish battle over who was the most talented and seemed to be extremely spoilt individuals. Christine McVie wrote the sweetest song on Rumours ‘Songbird’ written away from the toxicity. Every tour seemed to happen just to pay off Fleetwood’s drug bill - as did each album. All milked to ensure maximum money for the band (although the Tusk tour laughably made them nothing due to their spoilt demands). Stevie Nicks was possibly the worst of the 5 although Buckingham must share that honour with her. Granted she seemed nicer once she got older and off the drugs. All in all it’s hilarious. Made me think of Spinal Tap. Sobering to think they made so much money out of taking a lot of coke and drinking a great deal. Yes, they had some talent but having read this I have almost no respect for them. And one negative is that there is quite a shortage of photos - mainly just from Stevie Nicks more recent days. I could have done with more.

Gold Dust Woman.
With a voice like Goldust this book gives us the low down on one of the greatest female artists of all time, how she and Buckingham saved Fleetwood Mac and turned them into a supergroup and delivered probably the best album of all time in Rumours. A must read for fans of a truly wonderful songwriter, let’s hope there is plenty more to come. Highly recommended Bio.

Thanks for an excellent transaction
Everything was good

Average
Hampered by being unauthorised and therefore limited. There is no doubt a fuller life story to be told should Ms Nicks choose to tell it

This is my favorite Stevie/Fleetwood Mac biography
I have read many books about Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, and this one is hands-down my favorite of them all. The author tells Stevie's story, and the story of Fleetwood Mac, in an informative and interesting manner that keeps you captivated and not wanting to put the book down. I finished reading it quickly because I was so into it. What I liked best about the book is the history it explains. It is devoid of the scandals and click-bait stuff that many other books feature, instead the author gives an abundance of meaningful information about Stevie's life from a personal, musical, and introspective nature. I thought I knew about her career and Fleetwood Mac, but this book gave me a plethora of new information that I was not aware of. It was very well written and left me appreciating Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac even more.

Gute Biographie
Das Buch ist klasse. Leider kam es mit zerkratztem und eingerissenem Umschlag an. Da es aber fast nirgendwo mehr zu bekommen ist, behalte ich es.
