Nice product but poor instructions make the job harder than it needs to be
When I ordered these numbers I didn't really pay attention to the fact that they don't just mount with typical screws like most other house numbers. It quickly became a more complex project as we realized we'd have to drill quite a few substantial holes into vinyl wrapped fascia board and I was nervous about this ending up a big mess. However, I'm very happy with the final outcome. We mounted the numbers flush and they look perfect. As many other reviews noted, the instructions are incorrect. A 3/16" hole will not accommodate the stays - try pounding them in and they will break. We ended up having to drill 1/4" holes. This was not an easy job as our numbers are mounted high. Lesson learned - read the reviews carefully before proceeding in the future. :)It was necessary to carefully space the numbers prior to applying the template. If you have a number "1" in the mix it will look wrong if you use the same spacing as the rest of the numbers. We taped the 4 provided number templates onto a longer sheet of paper after adjusting the spacing so it would look right, then taped the template in place to punch starter holes. The stays are inferior quality and broke easily. Luckily you can (and should) substitute any similar sized stays found at your local hardware/big box store.Overall the numbers themselves are high quality metal and look great. If the instructions were correct they would be a 5 star product.

Great midcentury numbers at a bargain price
I looked at numbers 2 and 3 times the price before discovering these beautiful matte black numbers. After reading the tips on installation from other reviewers we used a 1/4" drill bit and had no problem tapping the anchors securely into concrete. We did use a hammer drill to get through our concrete block. The template for each number was perfect and the manufacturer includes hardware for three different applications--floating with stainless steel spacers (which is pictured on my house), flush mount and screws for affixing the numbers to a board if you choose. Another reviewer mentioned that the number zero was a different font width but we found all our numbers to be a uniform thickness. Definitely recommend!

Nice looking floating/offset numbers
Great quality and the included templates made deciding the number location and drilling the holes much easier. As other people have said in their reviews, you need to use a larger drill bit so that the clear plastic anchors will fit in the holes. Don't force the clear anchors in or you will break them. When putting in the long studs into the numbers, I did it first by hand, making sure the screw in straight and the used pliers to fully tighten the studs into each number. Use plenty of tape on your templates. Drill al holes straight and afterwards remove all the templates. I also tapped a clear plastic below the templates to catch all the dust from drilling. I then cleaned all the dust off. Then, when hammering in each number, I used the plastic packages that the numbers came in to cover the numbers while gently and slowly hammering in each number. The key is to do solid hammer taps and take your time hammering in the numbers until each one is touching the included spacers. If you are not comfortable installing these, get a handy person to help you. Very pleased with the look.

Durable, high quality
I love the modern look of these numbers. They come with spacers so they’re not flush with the siding. I do find them a little difficult to read with the shadow effect, but I think this could be minimized with not using the spacers or hanging them diagonal. They’ve held up to NY weather (sun, heavy rain and wind) and still look the same as the day we bought them. Overall happy with the purchase.

Looks great, read reviews!
I read the reviews and followed others in selecting a larger bit to drill the hole for the anchor.I did NOT paint my spacers black as other reviewers did, it just didn't matter as much to me to have them stay silver. Before doing that, I taped the numbers up to the column. After making sure the numbers (with screws already on) lined up with the dots on the guided number page, I then used a hammer and nail to tap gently in to each guided number hole on the paper to make a mark in the column where I would eventually drill.I took the paper down so I could then drill without having to tear up the paper while drilling. The top number (on our column) was with a larger drill bit, the bottom two numbers I did forcefully with a smaller hole which is why they aren't perfectly lined up. It's not perfect, but I love the look of the numbers.Knowing what I know now, I would buy these again as the third number installation went very smoothly.

Very nice, but
These are a pain in the butt to install into stucco, but doable. You need your own masonry drill bit (obviously). A hammer drill is strongly recommended. The directions say to drill 3/16" holes, which I could tell would be a problem. I went with 1/4". Worked fine. The plastic anchors went in no problem, but most of them cracked when installing the numbers. That doesn't bother me too much. I would be very surprised if the numbers ever came out.The metal spacers that make these numbers "floating" are silver. I followed another reviewer's advice and spray painted them black before installing. Very glad I did.Other than that, these look great. Very happy overall.

A little difficult to install, take your time.
Difficult to install in a slanted house trim. Followed the instructions, taped, pre-drilled (with a 7/32 bit as someone here recommended) and did a dry fit prior to inserting white anchors. Was very difficult tapping the screws into the anchors since our house trim is slanted.Instead put liquid nails in our predrilled holes and applied the screws with the spacer. Fits tight since holes where hard to drill on a slanted surface. Turned out perfect.

Good visibility; arduous installation (but worth it)
These were very difficult to install AMD I had a mishap on one of the numbers and thought I'd take it off and fix it; not happening. I'm leaving them where they are. They are replacing numbers that had to have been purchased from the cheap section at the hardware store. These are visible from across the street (easily) which is the reason i bought them but they also get lots of compliments.

Careful when installing
Numbers are very nice. BUT.... I used the size of drill bit they suggested in the instructions. That was a mistake. When I tried putting in the plastic plugs, they did not fit and mushroomed. There should be extra plugs provided. Either that or they should need more durable. They cannot take much force before bending. I suggest using a size up for drill bit.

Does the job, but fades
I really like the modern look and installation was easy. My only gripe is that, the black has faded after less than 1 year. I'll probably repaint it with a quality oil paint but other than that, it displays a number like advertised.

Buenos y elegantes
Encontré los otros números en home depot y después nunca tuvieron el #1 Lo busque en Amazon y el precio es muy similar. Están muy padres porque tienen una separación de la pared, los hace ver muy elegantes.

Faded and Weathered.
Product is faded and weathered already. I expected them to last more than a year.

Nice but guides don't match up
Pre-drilled holes to match guide but when I went to put the number in it didn't line up and was crooked. Had to use a rubber mallet to knock it into position. Quality is fine otherwise. Got 4 different numbers and 2 were fine, 2 were off.
