Strong and Eco Friendly!
Actually the best bin bags I’ve had! Would highly recommend. They’re strong, have handles and are compostable. Perfect.

Not that great
Although I love this brand and everything they represent, unfortunately these bin liners aren’t that great. They’re fine if you only put a couple of things in them, but for the size bin that they fit, they don’t really fit the job description.

Plastic, not potato starch as described.
I bought these because the description states that these are...Made from potato starch from non-GMO potatoesBlended with a certified, fully compostable polymerStarch potatoes require no irrigation, only natural rainfallThey are not! They don't contain any potato at all, they are entirely made of polyethylene.

No waste squirts
I am greatly satisfied by these bags. They comprise a high percentage of recycled consumer plastic (as opposed to most other brands which use recycled industrial plastic). The bags are quite thick and durable. I have never had an issue with them leaking or breaking, even when the bag is filled quite full with solid and liquid waste. The cost per bag is a bit higher than other recycled bags, but I found that with most recycled plastic bags, the increased friability leads to bag breakage with over-filling. Then, either you under-fill the bags or you double bag; and if you have to do that, the cost difference is obviated.

Bought on a whim but now a favorite that I'll purchase regularly. Small roll but worth stocking up on!
My husband and I LOVE these bags. They're very thick for trash bags and stronger than the more expensive name brand bags we usually purchase. I bought these on a whim because they were on sale (the price seems to fluctuate weekly) and boy was I surprised at the good quality. These fit our kitchen trash can perfectly. We haven't had any problems with rips or leak (like we do with the others we usually buy). They're about 5 times thicker than your average trash bag! The handles are also nice and make it easier to pull them out of the trash can when full.Best of all, they're "green" so we are helping the earth by using them. A definite keeper!

I love the bag strength, no tearing
I love how I can carry heavy bags out to the dumpster without tearing the bag. Quite durable! I also love the color so my trash stays private ( some green & white bags are semi see through from other brands )I am a loyal customer of If You Care since 2018, no issues with their awesomeness. I am happy Amazon carries them too if I can't make it to Natural Grocers. Also I love the draw string loop tie at the opening. Fancy

Expensive, and I wish they came in white. Otherwise, love the recycled content!
These bags are really sturdy for our kitchen trash, and I love that they're made with so much recycled content. They are costly, but we do not generate that much trash and I'm glad to purchase a product that makes use of post-consumer plastics. As far as trash bags are concerned, it always infuriates me that companies sell so-called "biodegradable" trash bags like that's some kind of sustainable choice, when it absolutely isn't--those bags will get covered in trash and not receive the air and sunlight they need to decompose. By using recycled content, these bags DO support sustainability by supporting the market for recycled plastics. Where trash bags are concerned, it's more eco-conscious to purchase bags that are made from recycled plastic (and, of course, to reduce the amount of trash one throws away in the first place) than to buy bags made of "biodegradable" plastic.

So far so good
I've gone through a set of these. I use them for the kitchen trash and they hold everything with the bags filled to the top and they survive the flight of steps to the dumpster, so I'm happy. There's only one time they possibly leaked. I just ordered a second round of them, so i will update this entry if that is the case after using those.
