I don’t like wasting money on coasta’s when I can just buy these. I’ve bought a couple pairs for working and going out . These r great

very nice when new
The lenses scratched very easily and were not useable afterwards ,I had 4 pair they all did the same.

Five stars not just for price
The polarization on these is fantastic. Sunglasses at this price usually have terrible quality, but I saw through the water with these and will purchase for friends

Not bad, not amazing
I guess for the price and the quality they’re not a bad pair of sunglasses. These are my first pair of Calcutta’s (Shock Wave Series). The sunglasses look very nice out of the package. The ones that I got had a scuff mark already on the right side of the frame, which was disappointing. I’m not going to bother returning them because for $25, returning them is too much of an effort for the issue.Another thing I noticed is that my eyes do catch parts of the frame when just looking around. My peripheral vision picks up on the nose piece and left and right side frame edges. That’s kind of annoying but not a complete dealbreaker yet.I’ve also noticed kind of a mirroring. I can see somewhat of a reflection. Again kind of annoying. Are usually buy Peppers and use them at work. To me, they have better lenses, but the frames are not very good and peel. But they’re also over $40 a pair.Overall these are just OK. I’ll wear them more and get a better feel for them over the summer.

Good design, but scratch easy
I didn't like that they scratched so easily. It's too bad because I did like the design.

didn't have the quality that the hype seemed to assure
I bought these to replace a pair of Costa Howlers I had misplaced last winter. The price point and frames were both attractive. When I received the sun glasses I immediately noticed they felt way to light and, well let's say, not built with the best materials. The fit was very tight at the temples and the glasses appeared to be sitting crooked on my face. Now i know my ears are exactly the same height but this was something different, they just didn't look or feel comfortable on my face. they are quite bendable. So after wrestling with them, I forced the glasses into submission and after finally getting them pinned, I forced the glasses into submission and I got my ten count. The next day i was ready to get back into the ring with them again as they reverted back to making my face look off kilter and I don't need any help with that, trust me. I ran them through the hottest water I could stand but they wouldn't budge. I have a lot of life to live and these glasses just aren't going to be on the chore list every day. I may keep them as back up safety glasses when only one eye needs protecting at a time or I'll donate them to the DAV. That might be crueler though. I know, I'll give them away to my ex. She can't drive anyway. Problem solved.Bottom line I did not like them and wouldn't recommend.
