I've played ukulele for a few years now and my mother and I intend for this to be a gift for my younger cousin. I've had to return a faulty uke or two in my time playing, so I inspected this a bit just to make sure there weren't any problems with it.Honestly, I'm kinda impressed. When we bought a cheap uke like this one, I did not expect the quality of this package. For one, this is real wood and it looks much better than I expected. The tuners are very nice, better than the ones on my "cheap" soprano and baritone ukes. I didn't see anything wrong with the fingerboard and frets, either. The strings don't seem like the best on the market, but they're not bad for a beginner.Plus, this did come with more than just the uke. The carrying case has a bit of padding in it, which is more than I can say for the case that came with my Concert uke. It came with an extra set of strings(see above), a few picks, and a tuner(definitely good for a starter kit!). While I'm not a fan of picks, the ones that it did come with were very pretty.If you're a beginner or you're shopping for one (or even not! I would be happy to receive this as a gift!) I definitely recommend this. It is very good, especially for the price, and there's a very low chance you'll regret it. Only thing I suggest is to get some nicer strings when the current ones wear out.

I love this uke soooooo much it's an amazing product it's the 1st ukulele I have ever bought and I'm a beginner and I can't find any thing wrong with it except for the fact that most of the packaging is in a foreign language.
