Jansport Big Student Day Pack

Whilst I am not a student anymore and do not need to transport many books and folders at a time I still need to carry a folder and books for a night class, along with lunch and general supplies for my day. I would not classify my load as too heavy but I was extremely disappointed when a strap broke in the middle of the day! It popped right off the bag and carrying a heavy bag with just one strap is very uncomfortable.However, when I was using the bag for lighter loads (for example my gym kit alone and other essentials) the bag could not be faulted. It has plenty of room for everything and having several compartments proved to be very useful. It expands quite nicely and the S-straps are a nice feature, very comfortable (although they took me some getting used to!). If you have a heavy load then you may have the same problem as I did, but otherwise it's a great bag! I no longer have mine as I sent it back to Amazon and am now using another bag as I am hesitant about purchasing another one of these.

My son is at secondary school and catches the school bus every day. His school bags have to be very tough - they get kicked around and have to carry his lunch, school books, pe kit, cookery items, books and lots more beside. He carries his bag from lesson to lesson each day, and it gets a lot of abuse.No other school bag has lasted more than a term - some expensive bags have given up the ghost after a few weeks. This bag has however taken everything he has thrown at it and is still going strong. The zippers have not split or broken, the straps are still securely stitched and the material of the bag has not split. It even still looks quite smart.Completely recommended for teenage school boys!

This bag is immense!! It has more space than you will need on a day to day basis. It is wonderful for all uni students. I can get 4 lever arch folders in this bag, a big water bottle and other nik naks that I need to get through a day at uni. They come in wonderful colours - mine is the pink tartan one - it is brilliant without being overly girly. If you buy this you wont be disappointed.

I bought two of these bags two years ago for my children who are both in high school. The bag is large enough to fit in all the books and textbooks they need for the day and also their p.e kit (with trainers). It also has handy compartments for their money, keys, phones, pens and space to fit in a lightweight coat in case it rains!! I have washed these bags several times and they still look great. I would definitely buy this bag again.

It looks like a good quality bag at first.But, the straps are not padded very well (very very FIRM padding)and that makes your back ache when you are carrying homeworkin it.I have noticed that the bottom sags down as well, makingthe bag go out of shape.I recommend this bag if you are not carrying heavy loadsin.

I had this backpack for 3 years of undergraduate studies. It is the only backpack that has ever lasted me more than one year in my entire life. I carry a lot of books as well as my laptop on a regular basis, and it has never broken or ripped at all. Unfortunately it was recently stolen, but I ordered the same one right away. If I can, I will have this backpack for the rest of my life.

I am in my final year of highschool, and the amount (and therefore weight) of books I have to carry around on a daily basis is crazy, and often my previous schoolbags could not handle the pressure or did not have enough space. However, this school bag has been the best yet, absolutely so much space, I never realised how many pockets there were! Handles the weight very well, the shoulder straps are great and sturdy, nicely shaped. Definitely recommend!

This Jansport rucksack is great. Arrived today, at the quicker end of the delivery time. The colour is slightly different from expected (but this difference is very small), and at £40 in total it could be a little pricey, but I am very impressed with the huge amount of space this rucksack offers.For anyone with lots of folders, or random bits and bobs, there are many pockets and places for all your things. It appears sturdy and the label says "30 Year Guarantee"!Don't be put off by the negatives I have explored as I fully believe that this is a trendy, big, and strong rucksack, certainly suitable for any student with lots of books and suitable as a holiday or travelling rucksack as well.
