Continental Explorer 26x2.10 Black Tyre

These tire's made a huge difference in the way the bike ride's. I had Michelin tire's on the bike and one of them had a lump and was not round and bumped when riding. I put these on and gave the wheel a spin and they are perfectly round with a nice AT tread. Smooth riding on the street and great tread for the trails. Also shipped in boxes instead of being folded up. Five stars

Great bargain tire

My husband loves this tire and has had it on two different mountain bikes. Rugged, great grip. Great on rocky, gravel-strewn Rocky Mountain trails. Use it on front spoke, a different Continental (Tire 26x2.3") on back.

I have put probably 100 miles on it, mid michigan dirt and mud. Solid traction for hillclimbs - I would but another.

Works great fast delivery reasonable price

To preface my review, I have been using Continental Tires for quite some time and currently use the Double Fighters on my commuter bike. I chose Continental because of their durability, dependency, and overall quality. I have not had a bad experience until now.I received my Explorer tire today and was quite eager to use it on the trails. Mind you I have changed many tires and I am always careful when changing my tires to prevent pitch flats, etc. After changing my tires, I took it out for a ride. Not even a mile it I hear my front tire go out. I got off my bike and to my disbelief the sidewall of the tire had ripped in not one, but two places. Luckily i wasn't too far from home, but I was very disappointed to say the least.I really hope that I got a dud with this one, because I really do trust Continental products. I will be returning this tire and getting a different model. It's just shame to see a $30 tire go to waste. I am hoping this is just a one time occurrence.

Very narrow tire

Continental Explorer Tire is exactly as order, I have not put the new tire on but looks great, correct tread to my old tires, receiving package came as said when purchased.

Good all round tyre

Arrivato 5 giorni prima del previsto.Acquistato per sostituirlo ai precedenti che si sono consumati, lo uso esclusivamente in terreni dolci e fangosi e sulla neve.Non adatto alle pietraie e all' asfalto a causa delle mescola morbida.

Livraison en temps et en heure, accroche bien, rien a dire. Je recommande donc ce produit pour quelqu'un qui n'a pas trop les moyen de mettre trop chère dans des pneus de vélos. :D

Hallo! Ich bin eigentlich ein Bewertungsmuffel aber zu diesem Artikel muss ich einfach eine abgeben.Ich hab den Explorer bereits seit dem Kauf meines MTBs im Jahr 2002 bis 2014 auf den Felgen. Nach so langer Zeit und mehr als 13.000 km Fahrstrecke war der Reifen dann doch langsam abgefahren und vor allem porös. Der Reifen kam das ganze Jahr über bei jeder Witterung (z.B. Regen, Eis und Schnee) zum einsatz. Der Reifen hat auf asphaltierten Straßen und hohem Tempo (gemessen bis 66 km/h berg abwärts) eine ebenso Ideale und sichere Laufeigenschaft wie im Gelände. Der Mantel ist nach meiner Meinung sehr robust daher sind Reifenpannen im Offroadbereich eher selten vorgekommen. Die neu gekauften Reifen haben bereits auch einiges hinter sich und ich hab absolut nichts zu nörgeln. Die laufeingenschaft und Stabilität ist auch bei diesen hervorragend. Der Rollwiderstand ist dank der Stollen in der Mitte auf Asphalt erträglich so dass die Beine nicht gleich schlapp machen. Rollgeräusche sind auf Asphalt recht hoch, aber ich denk das stört die wenigsten Radler.Nach meiner bereits gemachten Erfahrung mit diesem Reifen war ein Neukauf für mich logisch. Unterschiede in der Qualität von damals zu heute konnte ich bislang nicht feststellen. Ich bin froh dass dieser Reifen nach so vielen Jahren Profiltechnisch nahezu unverädert hergestellt wird. Wer also einen Allrounder mit top Eigenschaften sucht kann hier beruhigt zugreifen. Zudem ist der Preis echt top.
