They came a little scratched up. Nothing some paint won't fix but you can tell it wasn't from shipping. They are shipped nicely packed and in retail box. So, the scratches have to have happened prior to being packaged. Great sliders overall, steps seem like an after thought that just look nice. Personally I don't use them. But they are nice to use to wash the top on my truck.
