GREENSTRIKE 921 Manual Mosquito Preventer Aedes System-921, Black

Incredibly easy to set up. Hopefully it works as expected; I'll update this review with results after a month or two.Edit: It's been in use for a few months, and I've noticed a marked decrease in Aedes mosquitoes compared to years past. We haven't really gotten to the worst part of the mosquito season yet, but so far I'm impressed!Edit 2: After another month, we've basically reclaimed our backyard from the day-biting mosquitoes! We still have dawn/dusk mosquitoes (culex) as we've been using the aedes lure with the green-strike. I'm sorely tempted to buy another and use the culex bait to see if we can do even better.Edit 3 (7/1/19): The green-strike is still doing its job. While we're not mosquito-free, there are far fewer of the day-biters than before we set it up. The only downside to this version of the project is having to remember to go out and pump every few days, but it's an easy enough price to pay for mosquito control.

I bought this mosquito trap last year, and used the attractant included with the unit even though it wasn't the best one for my area. It seemed to help some, but I was excited to try it this year with the correct attractant. The only place I could find the attractant, though, was on the GreenStrike website. Turns out, they are in Canada, making the shipping almost as expensive as the product. This was all I could find, so I tried to buy it. Everything went fine until I entered my credit card info and clicked the "Purchase" button. I then got an error message, so now I don't know if the order went through or not. Makes me regret buying the Mosquito Preventer in the first place.

Product just arrived and is much larger than I expected. There is no set up manual just 2 large pieces that snap together and a small hose.No idea how it's supposed to go together or work due to no owners manual. Sending back.

This product is a great idea with a terrible design. It’s not at all easy to use - the latches on the side are almost impossible to latch - and the online instructions were for a different design with different parts. To top it off, the one shipped to me was damaged, and was missing parts and the instruction manual. (That part is on me for buying it months before mosquito season and not inspecting it right away.)Shame on Green Strike for this awkward plastic thing, and shame on Amazon for sending out a clearly damaged product.

0 idea how to use this due to complete lack of instructions. Found a user manual online and it is lacking in detail. No clue what to do with the attractant or the pump. If I get it going I will update on how it works....
