A great product
This arrived from Japan in five days faster than other goods ordered from the UK. I have used this to apply a thin layer of Camellia oil to my Japanese pruning saws to protect them from rust. The applicator works well and is very frugal with the precious oil but still gives even coverage. The compact unit does not take up a lot of space in my knife bag and is essential after using my valuable tools. .This nifty little applicator is thoroughly recommended.

Simple oil applicator that works.
It's a small plastic bottle with a cotton wick. The sort of thing that could easily sell for 50p. The large wick is good for applying the oil to flat surfaces (such as knives) but isn't so good at getting into corners and the more intricate parts of garden tools.

If You Have a Carbon Steel Knife Buy It
I have a Japanese Blue Steel [Carbon Steel] knife and I wiped Camellia oil on its edge "by hand" using a paper towel for several years. But this is some much faster and more convenient!

If you have high carbon steel blades... You'll love this oil applicator. The bottle does not leak and it makes it easy to put the perfect amount of oil on your steel. I really love this thing!!!
