Louisiana Fish Fry Tartar Sauce, 10.5oz - Pack of 2 - Classic Seafood Accompaniment

I liked the flavor and that it wasn't in a plastic push out spout.

This order both bottles were separated and discolored. No amount of shaking made it look edible. Irritated because there's no option to get a refund or replacement.

Now I have to run to the store tomorrow to buy more Tartar sauce, a Sunday, so I don't have ruined fresh COD that I was going to have for dinner tomorrow. I received my Amazon order of 2 bottles today and nearly lost my dinner when i saw this stuff. If it has mayonnaise in it it looks like it got frozen and got like mayonnaise does when frozenIt was runny, oily looking, separated and a gross looking green. I didn't even have to open it to see something was grossly wrong with it. nest stop is Amazon order page to get a refund. WOW, and I'm not the first one to report this issue.

I have tried a lot of Carter's sauces, at least 9 varieties of domestic sauces and at least 3 varieties of sauces from England and France and Norway. I have to say this suits my taste the best the flavor is great the consistency is excellent, not too thin or not too thick. The mix of relish mayo and a hint of mustard is spot on. This stuff is great on everything including fried catfish, fried shrimp and plain boiled shrimp. Also great on other varieties of fish. Because you buy it from Amazon it's pretty pricey but it's also hard to find in stores.

I always used Hellmann's Tartar Sauce but for whatever reason they stopped making it. It was definitely the best tasting tartar sauce. Now I am forced to use this or Frisch's. They are both okay but I do miss the Hellmann's.

IMO the only tartar sauce that brings out the flavor of seafood instead of covering it up.

This tartar sauce is delicious. Just (notso) plain good 👍
