HushMat 10150 Multi Use Kit - (4) 12" x 11" Black Ultra Sheets - 3.7 Square Feet

If you are going to add any sound dampening material to your car this is the one to use. Do not purchase the tar/foil based products (fatmat)!!!I just upgraded my system in my 2009 Jetta and had hushmat installed in the doors. After about a week I decided to get the trunk kit and really finish out my upgrade. I had never used ay sound dampening material before but I am glad I took the time to research this product. This is a high end product and the price reflect that a bit but you are getting the best.Product was shipped on time and was waiting for me on my door step when I got home from work. I had been anticipating getting my trunk kit so I didn't wait to get the trunk liner out and see how big this project was going to be. The product was as easy as all the reviews and videos had said. No prep other than getting trunk down to the metal and pre-placing the sheets before sticking them down. They are pretty easy to pull up if you stick it down and need to move it. My trunk area was more sq footage than the kit covered so I was glad I purchased the additional starter kit just in case. I still have more area I want to cover in the trunk so I will be purchasing more in the near future.After putting everything back in the trunk I went for am immediate road test. I drove for about 5 mins with no music just to see how much noise it did block out from the road. I was really impressed, this car sounds really quiet inside. The sound test was so much different than before the trunk kit. I have a JL 10" Power Wedge and all the distortion I was getting before was eliminated. Granted I went heavy on the hushmat on my driver side back wheel-well where the sub is located. I finished the drive again with no music and no A/C just to hear how quite it was and I noticed that I could hear a little more road noise from the back passenger side wheel-well I didn't cover so I have a future project upcoming.

Works great

This package was enough to damp my front speaker boxes, the sub and a decent job on the sound bar. Doing it again, I would use two pieces for the front speakers and the other two prices for the sound bar. Then I would buy another package smaller than this one to finish off the sub.Worth the minimal time investment and cost. Stuff the boxes with poly fill too.

Installed in front doors of GMC van//for insulation and road noise..Trying to keep heat out (hot in Texas)..got road noise too..mostly OPR (other peoples radio)..Was easy enough to install short of sticking your hand in holes that were not big enough..Its easy to work with and I noticed no smell..Seems to have done a good job..and Been staying stuck in this heat too...dan

Really easy to install. You can get really creative in putting it in random areas. I just don't know if there is a big sound deadening result. I installed in the spare tire area of my 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. Really tucked it in the nooks and crannies. Just not sure about the effectiveness for sound elimination.

Easy to use and apply- when you buy it- remember you'll always need more than you think. Easier to apply all at once- think it out and buy enough.

Excellent sound deadener

Easy to use, easy to handle. It reduced my RV engine noise some. Now I need more pieces. The 4 piece was a good test sample.
