Good for outdoors
Nice product to try. great build quality, comes with a muffler, mic can be bent to face all directions. but its not as sensitive as an iPhone mic but sounds good outdoors as it can cancel other noises.

Provato su fotocamera Sony RX 100 VII e malgrado dovrebbe essere plug&play non viene riconosciuto e pertanto non registra i suoni. Restituito immediatamente e già rimborsato da Amazon.

Excellent Audio
I bought this to get better audio on videos captured on my phone. It makes SUCH a big difference between audio captured with this microphone and audio captured straight from the phone. If you have newer phone models, i.e iPhone 7 and up, you have to "struggle" with having to use the dongle/adapter for the headphone jack with this mic, but it's a small problem compared to the quality audio you receive from this little device. Definitely recommend!

Doppel-Mono + Dead Cat = Gut für Android - bei Wind
Die vier Kontakte am Stecker ermöglichen Sound auf beiden Kanälen bei meinem Samsung S5 Mini. Es funktioniert schon mal gut, was ja in der obigen Beschreibung nicht erwähnt wird - eben auch für Android. Damit hoffe ich mir bei Wind einen nahezu ungestörten Ton zu bekommen. (Schaumstoff gegen Fell austauschen: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07GS3JT3N/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ).Die vermutlich nur schwache Richtwirkung ist ja nicht das entscheidende Argument für ein externes Mikro beim Smartphone. Wichtig: Bei Empfangsschwierigkeiten (besser sogar immer) auf Flugzeugmodus stellen, sonst wird der Ton extrem gestört !

Bought to cut out wind noise in videos on my phone.
I bought this mic back in July and wanted to test it a lot before leaving a review. I bought it for my Galaxy S6 Edge phone and must say that it is fantastic. I wanted an external mic that has a windshield for recording videos on the beach, and it cuts out wind noise by about 95%, just what I wanted. Was fed up with making holiday videos and getting a load of unwanted noise, I can actually hear the sea now and not the noise of the wind.Before buying this, I tried everything I could to cut out the wind, using foam over the phone's mic and all sorts of other things as well.This really does a good job.
