Sun, Moon and Stars Designs to Color (Dover Space Coloring Books)

I hope to come back soon and post photos. This is my favorite coloring book right now. It is not overly detailed, so coloring in it is actually relaxing! It is full of fantastic designs that inspire my own art as well.*Edit* I am finally adding photos of some pages I've finished!These are all colored using Prismacolor Premier (softcores) pencils.Sadly, the Prismacolor sealant I used on these six pages had gotten old and made them look worse instead of better. Also, bizarrely, the sealant melted the section I had colored with the violet blue pencil. Clearly, I will never use that sealant on top of my coloring again. It is still useful to spray it onto a page I'm planning to color with markers or pens. It prevents bleeding pretty nicely when used as a pre-treatment.***If I could get one favor from Dover, I would beg of them to re-publish this book as a hardcover with spiral binding, with the pages printed single-sided onto bristol board. I love the images so much, but the paper is mediocre at best, with the images from the other side showing through even before I start to color.***

I love to color I always have as a child as an adult, it doesn’t matter it is just very stress reliving and relaxing to me. I ordered the sun, moon and stars coloring book because I like the night sky. This book is small there are not a lot of pages but whats really great is the pages are not super thin, so you can color with markers or gel pens and not have the color bleed through.Another think I really like about this is the pictures are not super small like so many of the adult coloring book. I color to relieve stress, sometimes way to much detail or a picture that is to small can cause more stress. Even with the pictures being a bit bigger you will need to use colored pencils, gel pens or fine tip markers, they are not large enough for a crayon.Each picture is different and unique. They are fun pictures.

I admit it: I still like to color. I choose the Dover Coloring Books because many of them are definitely adult coloring books. I love "Sun, Moon, and Stars" designs, and hoped this would be perfect. It would be if I were, oh, 6 or 8, or maybe even 11. They are very cute designs, but not exactly what I was looking for. I plan to give it to my niece because for her, I'm sure it will be a 5 star coloring book. I should have realized that from the cover, but I didn't. Don't get me wrong; this is a great coloring book. It's just not what I was hoping for.

These designs were perfect for a dreamcatcher kids project. They traced a chosen design onto muslin then colored and embellished as desired. Lots of possible uses for these designs beyond just coloring.

Beautiful! Even though these are meant for adults, my granddaughters, ages, 4 and 5, love these coloring books. So, we really enjoy doing them together. We now have several. I love that the pictures are only on one side of the paper. We can all use the same themed book at the same time, because I can tear the pictures out easily to work on. If your child likes to color, and can stay somewhat within the lines, give this a try.

Love the easy to color, not too complex drawings. Do not like that there are pictures on both sides of the page, making bleed throughs likely for the picture on the other side of the page.

I love this. I bought it to share with my toddler who was obsessed with the moon, stars, and planets at the time. He was very impressed at my ability to color in the detailed drawings, but he also had a great time trying to do that himself. This is definitely geared toward middle schoolers and up because there are many pages with alot of details. Anyone who loves the theme, though, will enjoy this coloring book. A good price for the amount of pages and paper quality, too.

I am pleased with this adult coloring book of the sun, moon , and stars. It has some pretty designs, not too intricate, so would be good for a beginner. It arrived with the other coloring books ordered, all in good condition. They arrived a little later than I expected, but it was OK.

Libro arrivato in ottime condizioni. Do 3 stelle perché non tutti i disegni mi piacciono e dietro non c è pagina bianca o nera ..bisogna scegliere quale disegno fare anche se il foglio è abbastanza spesso usando pennarelli, penne gel o semplicemente calando un po' di po' si vede un minimo dall' altra parte. I disegni sono comunque molto semplici quasi infantili.

Très bien , j'aime beaucoup le thème mais surtout pour les enfants car les images sont assez grandes pas de petits détails pour les adultes.

単純に絵柄が好みです。塗り絵としては細かくはないので塗りごたえは少ないかもしれませんがこんな雰囲気の塗り絵は日本ではあまり販売されていない気がします。
