The tripod and the box alone was worth the price, very sturdy and well-constructed, yet easy to assemble. The instructions are clear and easy to follow as well. The two included little lights are good, but a tad under-powered for what I am using this for (jewelry photography)--the cords are just a bit short to use from the same power strip on my setup, but that's my problem. The backgrounds (white, red, blue and black) are awesome and very easy to attach with the velcro backing. However, they require heavy ironing (on the reverse) before one can use them and every little speck on them shows up on my micro-shots, so just a heads-up for those doing same style images. The black background really pops my semi-;precious stones and bright copper, though--I am about to try the dark blue. The carrying case is a very nice plus and rides well in the car.

I was in need for a small and inexpensive photo studio kit - I read some other reviews and then decided to go for this one - if there would be an issue with the lighting (what other buyers described) I would take care about that.First of all I have to thank you the great delivery guy!! It's pooring down in SoCal today and the guy put the package in a dry spot!!Here's my resume:+fast delivery+easy set up+good quality (for the price) of the "box"+all the lights/camera stand work perfectly- the backdrops were folded - almost impossible to get rid of the stripesAs you can see the only recommendation I would have is to roll the backdrops instead of folding them :-)

I like this product for the cost. It wasn't easy to first get it set up, but after fiddling with it, you can get the idea.The lights are not fantastic, but they get the job done. Mine started to smell a little burned, but after the first hour, you stop noticing. When you leave them on, the lights do get really hot after a couple minutes and they can burn you if you touch them. I recommend keeping kids away from the lights.The backgrounds are easy to switch out. They have a velcro tab at the top. It's nice to have options. I wish they didn't come folded. The wrinkles can be tough to remove without a steam iron.

I ended up returning it. It wasn't worth the $40-50 I paid for it. First, the legs in the lights got stuck. I don't know how to collapse them back in. Second, the backdrop is very wrinkly. I tried ironing it, which helped a little, but it's too much of a pain to do it every time I set up (and I'd have to since you fold it to get it in the case). I took pretty nice pictures with them, so I was torn, but I ended up returning it because of the legs. I found the light to be sufficient and the color temp. to be nice. Again, it was a hard decision (in terms of shopping, not in terms of Life), but I 'd rather spend a little more on something that's more solid.

The compact design is a plus to this which makes it an easy on the go item, which is what I use it for ironically. Great for small item photography,one problem I had was if the lights were too close to the tent it would get a lighting effect on the tent side itself, which may may not be what some are looking for.As others have stated, the camera stand cannot host a DLSR camera, which was no problem if you have your own stand.

-With great results. Just what I needed to take professional looking pics for sales listings. This light cube studio seems to well made with and is east to pack up with its self-storage case. Comes with a blue,green,red and black velvet back grounds that have velcro sewn into place to hold itself up at the top back of display cube. The 2 lights are a little cheesey but work fine but get very hot. It also comes with camera stand that should work well with a point and shoot although I have this set up on a table and I use my tripod. I'm really happy with this setup for the price.Funny thing about shipping. It was delivered in an Amazon smile box that was about 5 times too big. I bought it from Discount Tommy and it was fulfilled through Amazon. The way to go.

I bought this product as a gift for my boyfriend who likes to sell things on Craigslist/eBay and just practice photography in general. The product comes in a very convenient, easy to use storage case. The lights are incredibly bright. All tripods are easy to set up. Our only complaint about the product is that the way the backgrounds are folded when shipped caused very visible crease marks. The red and blue backgrounds would have to be ironed to remove the creases so they aren't seen in pictures.Other than that, this product makes a great gift for anyone who likes practicing photography.

I use this photography tent often to take pictures of small items. The quality is great and I love that so much is included in the set! The tent is easy to set up and take down and requires very little storage space. There are four colors of backdrops included and all are easy to attach and use. I tried to construct my own light box and it took up a lot of space and was only about half the size of this tent. This is so much better and I'm glad I made this purchase.
