Its very good leather. Soft, flexible. I use it to read notes when giving lectures. I print notes on landscape paper with a large left margin so I can fold over each page and still not have it poke out of the cover. Its too soft to just hold with papers, so I cut a piece of cardboard as a "backboard" over which I put my notes. That gave it just enough stiffness. Notes go into the left pocket, and lay atop the backboard but outside the right pocket. A pen fits to the right of the notes in the provided pen holder. Now you can see, I don't use electronic ipads or whatever. This is classy leather and right down my "gentleman's" style lane. If you find just the right binder and filler paper, that would work as well, but that is in itself difficult I found. So, cardboard to the rescue!

Very good leather. The dimensions were not too small like most leather products sold on Amazon. If anything, the dimensions may have been an 1/8 inch bigger than described, but that just means you know if will fit a book of roughly A5 size.The only thing is that it was very oily like the brown stain was coming off when it got here for some reason, but I lightly washed it in cold water and used some paper towels to get what excess I could off, gently of course. Afterwards I let it dry thoroughly; it seems to have gone away for the most part.Would definitely buy again. Assuming it stays in stock

Am using it for my A5 Nanami Studio Note. Fits just right and I like the quality of the leather and craftsmanship. It simple, with no logos and I have the brown leather.
