The media could not be loaded. As stated before the instruction are minimal. The dimensions are metric. If you don't know what 230 mm is you'll have to google it to get an idea in inches. These struts are sturdy enough for the overhead cabinet doors in our RV. They will probably last a long time due to the 4 or 5 weeks out of the year we use these. The only other issue, out of 8 of these struts, 1 package didn't include the screws. No big deal, but would have been easier to install with screws at the ready.The instructions have the usual "Engrish" - Oriental to English language idioms. Things like, "first made the pipe of pneumatic nuderprop installation the need open an close cupboard door..." What the heck is that? I often thought why don't Chinese companies hire someone who speaks English to translate their attempt into something a little more intelligible? Ok, back to the strut, these come with a 5 year guarantee and I'm sure they'll survive that lone. The action is smooth both opening and closing. I believe you can't beat these for the price.

The media could not be loaded. Not that I have any idea what I’m doing, but I bought this slow closing hinge for a toy box so my kids wouldn’t pinch their fingers. Unfortunately the amount of weight needed to close. It is not good for this toybox. Each time we close the lid it opens right back up.

I tried plastic cabinet door shocks that completely failed. Purchased these metal gas struts and could not be happier. Worked perfect for the overhead cabinets in my RV. Only needed one per door. Instructions require US customers to convert from MM to Inches, but this was no big deal. Highly recommend.

At least they didn't cost much. These are seriously STRONG!! If you are using magnetic catches in a camper these are going to pull the cabinet open all the time. They are also difficult to install. I could not figure out how to use them and gave up. If your cabinet is made of solid boards then ok but if you have a frame with a door then it is going to give you a headache. They are designed to affix to a solid 'wall' not a 3/4" thick frame.
