I know nothing about Amber and I have absolutely no idea why I bought a 25g bag of raw Amber, I read bad reviews and good reviews, the bad saying it's small bits or plastic.So my parcel arrived yesterday, I made myself do the dishes before opening it.I was seriously amazed at these 7 bits of Amber, they were a good size and different colours, I have no idea about quality or value for money, but I don't feel like I've been ripped off, so I bought the 50g bag which arrives tomorrow.I watched some vids on YouTube on how to polish raw Amber and gave it a bash, it's bloody good fun!I worked up the different grades of sandpaper then used toothpaste and beeswax to finish it off, bloody brilliant!Then I remembered my last don't know why I bought it purchase .... A Dremil!!!!!On to the next one, but now I can shape and polish it with the Dremil, not only did I prove my wife wrong about needing a Dremil, I made her a Pendant.When I was shaping the Amber it gave of a fine dust that smells of Pine/resin and that stuff you paint a wooden fence with, you need to take a lot of material off to find a colour or shape you like, I've not found anything in them yet, just bits of dirt/bark but that's the fun part it's like a treasure hunt, but even if you don't find an insect or plant you've made something beautiful, and if you hold it up to the light with a magnifying glass, it's like a little Universe.Would buy again, and as I said above I have bought again 👍

They're real lovely gems. Amber is a very soft crystal so a simple scratch test would tell you that these are infact real! They're simular in size to each other and although not very big you do get a good amount of gems. Some are prettier than others but that's the wonder of getting real stones. I will say they were lighter than I expected but I love them non the less. I highly recommend these to crystal lovers! (Raw Abmer stones 25 grams)

Wanted unpolished Grade 'A' Amber genuine stone chippings and received raw Amber stones.Want to return them and replace them with unpolished Grade 'A' Amber genuine STONE chippings.Please help.Kind regardsAnna

I brought the largest size and at the price I expected all of the pieces to be a good size, more than half are small pieces, with only a few adding up to the size I expected.

Seven good sized pieces, but four of them were cloudy, pitted and full of sand. Small and brown when polished. The other three were good clear gemstone quality. Previous purchase was much better quality … bit of a lucky dip (unlucky this time!)
