Very happy with this file cabinet. It’s easy to assemble, seems well made and rolls easily. It looks great and is much nicer in a home office than the standard metal office file cabinets. I had looked at IKEA for something similar but I think this one s nicer and more functional than anything I saw at IKEA.

This is an excellent home filing cabinet. In fact, I think it is nicer than the Steelcase I have in my cube at work. The drawers are smooth and quiet and the drawers have a nice heft to them. The fifth wheel keeps it from overbalancing when a drawer is open.The exterior design is sleek and looks perfectly and unobtrusively at home in my MCM living room/office. I have the white, which is more of an ivory, and it's basically perfect. There was no odor when I unpacked mine, and I am very sensitive to odors and strange smells. Unpacking and assembly was a breeze. Overall, this is a very nice product, especially for being made in China. I would not hesitate to buy more products from this company if needed.

This is just a boring file cabinet and wasn't expecting anything more than a typical box. But, this boring box is well worth the cost. I normally never comment on shipment or packaging. This was the best packaged item that I have received in years. All corners are protected with hard flexible plastic bumpers. The sides are protected as well. It will be challenging for the worst trucking company to damage this during transit. The size is ideal to fit under my work surface, which is the ideal placement. This is a lightweight metal cabinet which is what I wanted and exactly what you get. If you want a heavy weight bulky cabinet look elsewhere and don't complain. The drawers pull all the way out so it's very easy to access files at the very back. I've never had a cabinet that was so easy to access. The bottom drawer does have an additional small wheel in the middle of the front drawer to aid in pulling it the drawer and providing stability. Very nice feature. Be aware that, with ANY two drawer file cabinet, if you only pull out the top drawer all the way that the cabinet will tip forward. If you place the cabinet under a work surface or place weights in the base this would reduce chance of tipping. I fully load the top drawer and know to hold the door if cabinet is out in the open. Not an issue, just be aware and use wisely. The lock secures both drawers - nice feature. What I also like about this drawer size is that it nowfunctions as a portable "bug-out" box. It's small enough and rolls so it'll be easy to carry all important papers in one box if we every need to leave due to an emergency situation. Since we now have this cabinet we'll probably never have such an emergency. Lastly, this file cabinet has a very clean modern look with no visible handles or knobs. The drawers have continuous edge grip on both sides which makes it very easy to open in any position? No regrets.

Metal seems thin, but it is holding a lot of files pretty well. Key is flimsy (use gently)Best feature is not needing assembly.Awkward to open drawers - bought heavy duty magnet to use as drawer pull. Little expensive.

When my package arrived, the box was beaten up a little, a hole/gouge in the side of the box. But, the pack job they did was fantastic! I was surprised that the unit only had a slight dent where it was gouged. The dent is so slight I would not even think of exchanging it, I would not have noticed it had I not been looking closely for dents. The file cabinet is great, holds more than I expected. Very portable and blends in anywhere, it is so cute! I am going to order another one!

This is a very reasonably priced filing cabinet, and it’s attractive, sturdy, and works very smoothly. The little wheel under the bottom drawer was a very smart design addition.

The filing cabinet came padded on all sides with Styrofoam, though the exterior box had a whole in it the cabinet arrived untouched. It is already assembled just attach the wheels. The lock works great, have tried it a couple of times, This is the closest you will come to commercial grade without paying several hundred dollars. The drawers are very smooth in operation and I expect that it will last a lifetime.

I bought two of these because I needed to be able to move the file cabinets sometimes. They were exactly what I was looking for. Arrived in good shape and easy to assemble. Drawers worked perfectly at first. However, it took me some time to reorganize my study and by the time I was ready to put files in them, it was past the return window.When I did put some files in the drawers, one of the bottom drawers will no longer close all the way. Upon investigation, I discovered it is hitting the bottom back brace. I did not overload the file drawers, only about half full. I emailed the company and they asked what I thought the problem was. I replied and have not heard another word from them. My husband and I will try to figure out a way to modify the cabinet so that the drawer closes.

The file cabinet is ok but honestly, for $355 I expected more. It is easy to "assemble" (which is one of the main reasons I ordered this particular one) but you do have to figure out exactly where the struts to hang the files on should be, especially if you need legal which I did. The instructions are adequate but again, only because there is a minimum to do to make it "ready"... no real instructions... only pictures which you have to check carefully. My only concern is that it is very light and because I was worried about the cabinet tilting when the TOP drawer was opened (the bottom has a 5th wheel and is pretty stable), I put something very heavy on top to stabilize it. I don't want to sound as though it is not a good cabinet, but again, and maybe I've been out of the Home Office furniture market for too long, I thought $355 would be a little more impressive.
