Kala Mill with Ceramic Grinder for Salt Pepper and Spices Danish Designed, 5", Black

I initially bought these grinders because I love the CrushGrind mechanism. I don't believe there is a better salt and pepper mill mechanism on the market than CrushGrind. I found this product mostly easy to use, however, I have fairly large hands and it can be very slightly awkward for me to hold while grinding. If it were just for this, I would still rate 5-stars. The major problem I have is that after a few months, one of the grinders had a problem where the lid would come off. The threads on the top would not hold onto the glass bottom, and whole pepper corns would dump into the food I was preparing. This happened many times before I bought a new one. After a few months, the new grinder does the same thing. For this I cannot recommend this product for use in the kitchen. Maybe for occasional use it would be fine, but I will not be buying another.

It's a very effective grinder. The size is perfect. My only complaint is the fact that it doesn't have a lid. The grinder portion on the older models was straight across (not angled) and had a lid so you could turn it upside down and grind right into the lid. Much more practical than this model. Please bring back the old model !

Got this as a replacement for one we purchased at Ikea over a decade ago. I really wanted something that would look as good, and be as long-lasting, and this appears to be the perfect match.The base is glass, solid, and clear. The neck is wide enough to be easy to fill.The top is plastic, but sturdy. It has about the same heft/feel as the one we're replacing, so I'm confident that it will last. The grinder works smoothly, and the adjustment knob is easy to use, and clicks solidly into place for the different grind settings. I would absolutely recommend this product.

Nothing beats the taste of fresh ground pepper. For years I have been buying ground pepper, but it is truly lacking in flavor regardless of which brand you purchase. So, I broke down and bought this little grinder. It is SWEET! This little jewel work perfectly and now my peppered food tastes so much better. Highly recommended!

I have tried several different grinders for gray sea salt. This is by far the best. It is not as pretty as many others, but it functions better. Gray sea salt seems to gum up the works of most salt grinders. Not this one. It performs the same for years. My first one, at home,still works as good as this new one at the office. I put grey sea salt in my water and on my food. It prevents muscle cramps.

These are the best on the market. Sharp, durable, and adjustable ceramic grinding mechanism. Clear glass container allows you to simply see what is what (I have 3 of them). Perfect size for my cabinets (not too tall)

we use this little grinder to grind pumpkin seeds into smoothies and granola - works beautifully. I've gifted it twice more since we started using ours.

Favorite salt and pepper mills. No mess on the counter with the upside down design. Functional, comfortable to hold and use. One of my most essential kitchen tools!
