Angles
This book introduces kids to angles in a fun way. A project afterward with ramps and cars and varying angles would really help get kids into this topic. My only issues was that I did not find it believable (yes its a fictional story but I like to see the science and math right anyway). Basically the hamsters went down a pillow ramp and got enough speed to fly up into the air off a second ramp.... the friction of the pillows would not have let this story get off the ground. If they showed a different kind of ramp, then I would have given the book 5 stars.

Great for the classroom!
I used this book in a math unit on geometry for fifth graders and they absolutely loved it. At first I didn't think my students would like to hear me read the story aloud but they loved gathering on the carpet and being read too. One student said that this reminded him of his favorite year in school which was kindergarten and he was excited to do the math. This book incorporates angles and the use of protractors and can also be used to introduce ideas of physics as well. It's a great book to add to your math library.
