This shawl was brought as a gift. Upon receiving it I opened the package to check the quality of this item. It was nice and soft. The color was deep and rich.

I was really excited about this because of the ability to tuck one side through a loop on the front and it being reversible. I washed it and brought it to work to use when I was feeling a little chilly. Today I worse it over a back long sleeve shirt as the AC was on in my office and definitely didn't need to be. It was for about an hour or so and then I went to take it off and noticed that my shirt was now covering in a million little tan hairs. I was very upset because I really wanted to love this. Definitely not something that you can wear without ruining the clothes underneath.

I purchased this as something I could easily put on after shoulder surgery. The fabric is supple, warm, and amazingly soft. Unfortunately it sheds white fabric on your clothes -- I am still trying to get the shedding off my clothes.The colors are neutral and go with everything! The ability to loop it through the opposite shoulder made it hassle free for me. Worked perfectly for what I needed it for.
