Superb. Just read other online reviews - i did a lot of research before spending this much - but glad i did.Sharp front and back pictures, can use a large Micro SD card (bought separately) - note the videos of both cameras front and back will soon fill it up so if you want to cycle a reasonable numbers of hours recording you'll want at least a 64GB card - which should give you around 9 hours of recordings at standard quality.Took a bit of time and planning to install - the rear camera needed placing in the right position to reduce risk from the car radio antenna, and clear rear view, plus how to channel the wires, but once all installed, just leave it there and works a treat.If you're looking for a front and rear dashcam - and can afford it - this is worth it.

absolutely fabulous dashcam, have had at least 3 in the past, quite useless, this is the very best, so clear with perfect playback, if you are buying a dash cam, you must get this and no other, very highly recommend this, don't waste your money on any other.

I studied reviews on dashcam forums etc thoroughly before opting for the Street Guardian 9663 DC. I am more than pleased with my choice. The camera is very compact (discrete) and produces very good video. With the non tubular shape of camera I've been able to get the camera lens axis up close to the centre-line of the car (behind & on left of rear view mirror). The GPS sensor is remote from the camera itself, which I've decided is good as this minimises the camera size (mine is mounted in the top n/s corner of the windscreen, away from camera).Some dashcam users don't like having their car speed imprinted on the video footage (it can be turned off in the settings on the Street Guardian), but should it become important, experts can work out the speed of your car by a time/distance travelled calculation if no recorded speed is included. I personally feel the speed recording off the gps is added protection should a spurious allegation be made by another motorist. An added bonus for a non I.T. person such as myself is that the customer service from Street Guardian is absolutely fantastic, and very prompt (no faults with my unit, just needed assistance with use of a system alien to me). In my opinion the Street Guardian is well worth the money as the cost is less than the excess on my insurance (should a non witnessed incident result in a claim).
