I don't understand the negative reviews, as gold IS a commodity market indexed item and the price rises and falls with the market. Given the current pricing gold pricing in December of 2022 with the inflation we have, I think this is a very reasonable price at $88 for a 1.2mm 18" solid 10K or $105 for a 1.2mm 18" solid 14K.I own two rope/serpentine chains that are 2 - 2.5 mm in 14K solid gold with larger double-lock safety clasps. They're awesome, but I can't fit some of my smaller crosses or other pendants on them because they won't pass over the end of the chain. They're beautiful, but they don't fit. They ALSO would cost over $600 USD now, at minimum.The important thing is finding what fits your needs, and I think these are very nice and strong solid 1.2mm 10K or 14K lobster clasp chains for the price. I looked for days and these were the best value for price I found with a lobster clasp anywhere on the internet that would fit what I wanted to wear on my chain.Update: I've been wearing this chain 24x7 for a month now ... I sleep in it, garden in it, shower in it, etc. and have had no issues with it. It seems to be as sturdy as it can be for a chain which will allow my inch long gold and diamond cross to fit over the end of the chain.

So thin and lobster clasp is almost impossible to open it’s soo tiny. Not worth the money

I like the quality of this but most pendants will overwhelm it. It’s pretty fine/thin, more so than I expected. Does seem to be well made.

Beautiful, delicate chain. Unfortunately, it broke apart after only 1 week of my daughter wearing it. She lost the gold initial pendant that I bought for it. ( pendant very light weight.) I am disappointed in the fact that it wasn’t as sturdy as I hoped it would be, and was smaller sized link than I expected. I purchased 10K gold for the heavier strength of the gold.. She lost the chain as it is broken and hasn’t been able to find the pendant either.

I had to get a smaller white gold chain for my beautiful diamond pendant my hubby gave me years ago. I brought this into my jeweler to get the diamond pendant put on. They remarked how nice the chain was. It really set my diamond pendant with diamond cut chain. Just gorgeous. I wear it daily.

It's a good, durable chain. A little thinner than I expected but I still really like it. Good chain, good material.

The white gold necklace while thin, is very strong. The 18" length seemed a little short to me, but it worked for the pendant . I really like a lobster claw clasp, I just wish the clasp was a little bigger. I found it a little difficult to open. Overall, for a white gold necklace which I was having a hard time finding, this one is spot on!

Really like this chain. It is thin but strong and I appreciate the lobster claw closures. I am very glad that I chose the 1mm I would not have wanted it any thinner. Came exactly as described and a week early. I had previously ordered a 24" and am happy with it as well.

Very cheaply packaged. Very fine chain, low quality

This necklace is very thin and small, it only lasted 3 months before it broke. I even took it off to avoid getting wet. Do not recommend!
