OK, but too tiny & hard to manage. Would be better spiral-bound.
I have always loved the scut monkey books. This one is really small and hard to read. But I still find it useful with my strongest reading glasses. I also wish it had spiral binding instead of the glue binding. It's difficult to handle. You need 2 hands (3 would be better). The spiral handbooks can be accessed and help with one hand. Publishers have abandoned us.

Great Reference Guide for the Science or Medical Student or Professional
This book is extremely useful if you are in the medical field or another scientific discipline. Versions are updated every year, and this one is another successful version. If your not sure about the content, it has almost every main drug or medicine that can be prescribed. It is very helpful as they are arranged in various categories. The best thing is that for each entry it gives a quick summary of the drug. It has things like dosage, a quick MOA (mechanism of action) or a few words on which part of the body the drug acts on. It has other things like contraindications as well as pediatric toxicity. All in all I would absolutely reccommend this book. It is also pretty small such that you can put it in your lab coat pocket, a purse, or even an actual pants pocket.

A solid pocket sized reference.
This book offers solid information to the inquiring clinician. The information provided by this book is in no way to the same depth as say a PDR but it does put good and useful information in a small pocket sized reference.

Useful every year
I find that carrying around a drug book in my pocket is very useful. Although there are apps that can give the same information, a book is infinitely more accessable to me. The Scut Monkey Clinician's Pocket Drug Reference has been great. It gives the basic information needed (uses, mechanism, doses, warnings, contraindications, dispensed as, side effects, and if needed special notes) in a boiled down, quick reference. Every couple of years I get the new version, and every couple of years I find it helpful.

Teeny book
When it says “pocket guide”; realize the book is tiny and so is the print.

Very happy
This book is very easy to use. The print is small, but it packs a lot into a tiny book, so that is necessary. Index easy to use, very complete. Highly recommend.
