These are good for tossing into a pot of chili -I mix them with unsalted or low-sodium beans. By themself, I find them too salty and they are not spicy at all; they are rather mild on the spice meter. Still, they do taste good as all Bush beans do.

Use them in chili. Or don't. They are really good.

I loved the taste of these beans - better than the red beans When made at home. Better than the chili beans - same beand - and those are delicious too

Maybe not the "best" (acknowledging that the idea of "best" concerning food is quite subjective), but I don't cook my chili without them. Thus, they're pretty decent for canned, chili-sauced black beans.
