CosDaddyKhan Starfleet Costume Uniform (XXL-Man) Red

Better than I could’ve hoped! This isn’t some all-in-one pullover jacket. This actually has the full mock turtleneck white Command shirt (ribbed collar and cuffs!) and the jacket fully opens. The interior placket is white (to do the turned down flap) and the closure is a series of snaps and it even has the chain along the closure line! The shoulders are padded to keep it looking crisp.You’ll want to reinforce the white shoulder strap in the back and maybe replace the button there with a more accurate “security disk.” You may also want to reinforce/replace the lock swivel on the front. And I recommend adding two black belt loops near the front to prevent drooping. The buckle is authentic and the belt is serviceable.The pants are elastic waist and sturdy, I’ll wear them with suspenders to keep them in place.The uniform doesn’t come with any insignia but those are easily found. If you’re wearing Captain’s rank, I recommend buying the smaller Captain rank pin (from Starbase Atlanta on eBay) for the sleeve and the full-size pin for the shoulder strap. SA also has full pin sets for different ranks.All in all, this is one of the absolute BEST costume buys in this price range. No it isn’t Anovos quality (or the $1,300 price tag) but it’s definitely going to impress your con friends and you’re going to feel proud to wear it!

The fabric is right , color is red an not burgundy ( not a big deal) the collar was cut way to low unlike the picture, the snaps are right but there are not enough, the flap underneath dose not go all the way over like it should. the black stripe is not sewn shut on the end . the belt loop in the back is completely in the rong spot.

A picture is worth a thousand words... especially if you are trying to wear the words. I purchased this Star Trek TWOK uniform by CosDaddy because I wanted to do something a little different for the annual Halloween party this year and I didn’t want to spend a fortune on it. The purchase price at the time I write this review was $90. Between the pins and boots you’ll need you’ll probably be in this costume about $150 - $250 depending on how good a deal you can find on boots and if you want to try to get them close to screen accurate. I was lucky to find a used pair on eBay.With that said, I did not buy this expecting an Anovos quality costume. Unfortunately, what came looked absolutely NOTHING like the promotional pictures and I’d recommend looking at other vendors (see photos).For starters I am a little over 6’2” and weigh a proportional 240lbs. I ordered an XXL expecting an Asian product to run a little small. What I got would easily fit a 7 foot tall 300lb man, so if you are going to pull the trigger on this product, I’d recommend going a couple sizes small. I suspect a large would have probably been loose on me. The XXL pants wouldn’t stay up around my 38” waist and were absolutely HUGE and unusable.The stitching is awful. The color is way off from the movie, especially on the stripe running down the leg. Granted you can’t expect great prop quality colors in a costume but the leg stripe was pink! There are no pleats on the cuffs and the shoulder hasp was falling out. The quality of the imitated security disc on the right shoulder is laughable (see photo). The chest flap does not like to stay buttoned and came open on me while I moved around. There was minimal effort made to imitate the chain sewn into the inner flap in the movies and its cheap staple quality metal that will snap in no time. The belt pictured in the promo photo is just a lie, simple as that. Its flimsy costume plastic that is fraying out of the bag (See photo).I didn’t include photos of the turtleneck. Its not screen accurate but its okay for the price point. Unlike the competitor the turtle neck was long sleeve if that matters to you. It was more comfortable cut off at the shoulders with the competition for me personally.Bottom line - you are getting a costume on par with the quality you would find bagged up at your local seasonal Halloween party store. There are better options at the same price point right here on Amazon. I paid $20 more for the competitor’s product.No matter what you buy at this level, expect to have it tailored. So add that to your costume cost and plan enough time for them to finish the job before you need the costume.I hope my review helps someone make an informed decision.

Everything fit correctly EXCEPT the main overcoat and the belt. You know, the 2 most important parts of the costume.The overcoat and belt seemed to be made one size too small, even though the label showed the correct size.I'll just need to lose a few more pounds in order to fit in it.Maybe next year.

Better than I expected for the price. Its not 100% screen accurate but I wasn't expecting that. With a few added pins you can have a realy nice cosplay uniform at a reasonable price. Sizing seems to be correct at least for the 2XL. I am 5'11 228lbs. The Jacket was a little snug around the mid section but other wise fit well.

Like the headline says, it breaks if you put it on or wash it. I've taken three chances with this product, and they've all self-destructed within the first couple of times I've worn it. The connector button that connects the jacket to the strap comes off very easily. I had barely put the uniform on when it broke. Also, beware that if you wash the product, that whole assembly can fall off (happened on my second copy of the item). The strap also connects poorly at the back. I'd suggest reinforcing it if at all possible.The strap for the belt falls in about the middle of my back, and the belt has to loop down to my waist. The belt itself is good, as is the shirt. I've not worn the pants, but they are the one thing that don't look right with this uniform.

Actual top is more orange then red. Looks more Prince Charming than Star Trek. And yet still passed. Pants waist was stretched out. Just wear black slacks and it worked.

Nice uniform but sizes are wrong, on the small side .
