I did just get it, but right away I'll say that I didn't realize I had sensitive skin until recently, but ever since getting a terrible stye and having it thankfully go away I've been reconsidering what I put near my eyelids. I asked chatGPT what the best mascara was for those issues, and it picked this one-- even the feel is unique and I understand how this is more gentle for sensitive eyes. Often mascara will itch, and the flakiness causes bits with sharp edges to feel like they're making tiny cuts in my eyelids and sometimes in my eye. anyway, that doesn't happen with this mascara. While it felt good on and has a really nice smell imo (it smells like honey), it stayed on all day and came off easily at night. this is the just what i needed and I'm thankful I can wear mascara again, thank you!

This Ilia mascara gives your lashes length and separates ypur lashes. First you put on one or two coats of the mascara. On the other side of the brush is a comb. You use that to separate your lashes. When you are finished you will haveLong separated lashes.Ilia is my favorite mascara

What I love about this mascara (living in a very hot climate): While it's not waterproof, it also doesn't run/smudge/flake; I have extremely sensitive eyes & it causes no irritation; The two different bristle sizes so you can opt for various fullness/length looks; My lashes are healthier when I use it regularly; It's not full of toxic crap; It lasts all day long; I've worn it out on the water, in rain, cried, & did not have mascara all over my face--just dabbed my lashes & good to go; My dermatologist uses this too & recommends it.What I don't love: It dries out *really* fast. I buy this on a monthly subscription because by the end of a month, it's unusably clumpy. I also have to store my surplus ones in the fridge, or it lasts about 2 weeks. For the price, this is a terrible deal! While I definitely prefer tubing mascara, & the lacking longevity of this product drives me nuts, I use it anyway because I can no longer stand behind cosmetic products that poison our bodies. I personally have seen a drastic improvement in skin health since cutting out toxic cosmetics. And as far as clean mascaras go, this one is by far the absolute best.

10/10! I am super sensitive to mascaras, they give me terrible headaches and dry eyes. This one is a total gamechanger. The application itself is so smooth and looks so pretty without any unwanted clumpiness or flaking. It is also easy to remove but it doesn't smudge throughout the day which is really nice. This will be the only mascara I'll be buying for awhile!

I typically don’t spend over $20 on mascara but ordered this cuz the shipping was fast and it had clean ingredients. I was surprised at how much I liked it! It dosnt get flakey or clumpy however it’s not water proof (cryers beware lol)…started using it around Jan 26th and it’s almost April and it hasn’t started irritating my eyes which lets me know it’s going bad, which is impressive. Most natural mascara starts going bad after a month or two which I can’t stand replacing so soon. I’ll be ordering this again— this is a good formula.

Before I go all negative on it, I can say for sure that the look it gives you is natural and AMAZING.I honestly wasn’t going to do a review on this mascara since i had stopped using it but as someone who wears 5 different mascara religiously (every single day), it would be a disservice to the girlies to not to do one.First thing, ITS NOT SMUDGE/WATER/DUSTPROOF. I wore it to see Inside Out 2 (where i cried), the mascara itself looks really great, especially because the brush has 2 different volume settings allowing me to mix and match my lashes but by the end of the movie I wiped my eye and there was nothing there. Like absolutely nothing. As much as it is a great advantage in taking your makeup off flawlessly, it’s not the best mascara if you’re an eye rubber or regular tear dropper. I work 12 hour shifts and use this mascara on my bottom lashes, not even 3 hours into my shift i see mascara dots on my under eye.. anyways.Second thing. Smell is so bad. That’s it. that’s the end of the sentence. that’s how bad the smell is.One thing i will say is, if you accidentally poke yourself or get it in your actual eye, you’ll be okay.overall ilia gets a 4/10 for me. I’ve tried 30 mascara at this point and ilia is just not the mascara for me. I hope you have better luck!

I love this mascara! I've tried so many and this one is by far the best. It does smell funky, as others have commented, but I'm still giving it 5 stars because it works so much better for me than any others I've tried. My eyes are sensitive and the majority of my eyelashes fell out after regularly curling them & using Tarte tubing mascara. Fortunately, they grew back with the help of lash serum and avoiding mascara for a few months. I've been using this mascara for the past 2-3 months with no issues! My lashes are healthier than ever.
