These are 4" length total so if you are going through a 2x4 these aren't long enough

1.75" long version received.
well it appears that different lengths are being shipped out. Others have stated that they received 4" long versions. The ones I received were 1.75"As for what I received, I find nothing wrong with them. they are perfect.
