Not 100% cotton
I liked the size 3T in this brand that I got for my son last year, so I just ordered a pack of 4T and they are NOT 100% COTTON. The 3T were 100% cotton. They still feel really soft and look nice, but I’m not a fan of polyester and other synthetic materials for my son or myself. The product description states in several places that it is 100% cotton so this is false advertising. I didn’t pay $27 for 3 pair of toddler underwear for it to be synthetic. Refund please.

Sensory friendly! Soft, sturdy, durable undies from a small family-owned company, and great customer service.
My son has worn the boys briefs (and now boys boxers) in size 2T, 3T, 4, and 5. They are worth every penny. They are made with thick, soft fabric, that stays sturdy after many, many, many washes. The elastic at waist and legs is thick, and lays flat, not too stretchy or too tight. It doesn't begin to unravel with rubbery threads coming out like pretty much any other undies I've ever tried (adult or child). The thread is soft and the seams lay flat without rubbing. My son is not SPD but does have lots of skin sensitivities, and is very particular about what he wears. I have similar skin sensitivities as he does, and just love how these undies feel in my hands. They don't ride up on his bum, but stay down fully under his butt cheeks. After maybe 100 washes, there is some color fading and some very mild pilling of the fabric. All so mild that I'm sure they will last another 100 washes when my second son gets to use the ones his older brother outgrew. The fabric has as nice stretch to it, so that one size seems to fit for at least two years of growth. I have purchased them in each size, but could probably get away with purchasing them in every-other size instead. The fabric arch where it looks like a pee-hole would be, is fake. The undies are stitched closed on the inside, so that there is no real hole. I've purchased at least 12-15 undies in each size, and quality has been consistent among them. I finally had one issue where a pack of size 4T was the tiniest bit smaller than all of the size 3T my son had. I missed the Amazon return deadline, so I called the company, and was able to speak to the owner (how often does that happen anymore?!). He was very friendly, and offered to replace the undies with a better size. These are an extremely high-quality and durable item, which it seems hard to come by in this day and age. So much clothing seems to be made to be thrown out within a year or less. These are definitely the type of item that you know is made to last. I could only be happier with these if they made them for mommies heheheeh!

Underwear He Actually Wears!
My son is on the Autism spectrum and potty training has been difficult. Finding the right underwear has been a task. We spent a good amount of money buying underwear for him that he would just not wear. I saw the reviews for City Threads Briefs and a lot of moms said they were very soft and sensory-friendly, so I decided to buy ONE 3-pack to try out. Of COURSE my son absolutely loves them! They're super super super soft, and such great quality! Once we knew he would actually wear them, I purchased 3 more 3-packs. They are definitely a bit pricey, but they WILL hold up. I typically wash all of my clothes in tepid water and always dry on low heat as to avoid shrinking. They have held up to numerous washings so far! I definitely recommend these briefs for children with sensory issues. There are no tags, and nothing that will "dig in" to sensitive skin.

Quality is there, but sizing is off-putting
I really wanted to love these. We have been buying Hanna Andersson unders for my 2.5 year old son, but he is close to growing out of the XS size and I wasn't crazy about the fact that they are cut so narrow between the legs that "stuff" hangs out the sides sometimes. So I decided to try these instead because they appeared to have a wider crotch panel. They are pricier than Hanna unders, not organic, but they are made in the USA, which is a huge selling point for me. I read that they run small, and my son currently wears size 3T pants (38" and 32lb) so I ordered him a 4. I thought that 4 would be bigger than 4T, so I was sizing up two sizes. The underwear seemed ok out of the package, but shrunk in the wash (cold water wash, medium heat dry) and now they are fitting about like his Hanna XS unders, which are getting too small. Luckily I only ordered 1 package, but they won't fit for long and we're back to square one. I love that they are soft and not covered with characters and branding, but I don't like playing the guessing game with sizing. I would order a 5, but I'm afraid it wouldn't make much difference and it's an expensive game to play trying to get the right size.I LOVE the idea of buying these, but in actuality I don't know if they are worth the money. The quality is comparable to Hanna, but I still think Hanna is nicer, and organic.

Uncomfortably Scratchy Seams
Bought for my 2yo son's first underpants, but I only put them on him once. The fabric is nice quality, soft and durable, but the seams feel uncomfortable, and must be even more so on my baby's softer skin. I didn't keep these, and wish I hadn't spent the extra money. We've settled on the Trimfit briefs instead, and those are more reasonably priced and more comfortable, and a pack of 8 costs far less than did these.I would still buy other items by this brand, just not underwear.

Worth the price, do run a bit small...
I love these so much, bought five pair! Great quality, thickness, detail! I had been searching for nice toddler boy underwear that was plain, no crazy patterns or cartoons. It was very hard to find anything so I was so happy to see these. They do run a bit small so I’d buy a size up, especially if you wash in warm to hot water. My son has wide thighs so the leg openings can be a bit tight but are easily stretched out and keep their shape. I bought many sizes and colors, will continue to buy these. Worth the price!
