Conair Hc900 Even Cut Hair Clipper

Absolute crap !Takes alot of going over to "even cut" the hair and at the edge of the hair line doesnt cut at all .Pretty much useless .

Firstly, I'll preface this review with the background that I've used clippers for self crew cut for almost 20 years & also given others the same cut. I've usually only ever bought Wall or Braun, but purchased this one as a replacement due to one handed use.Secondly I'll also add that this particular clipper was fully charged for 16 hours before use & oil was applied.Now the justification for the 1 star... My hair was around 14mm and I used the 4 grading guard, freshly washed and dried.The cut using the instructions of going from back to front and then a circular motion was incredibly difficult to do as the blades were so blunt that the actual cutting was patchy and consistently pulled my hair, to the point that full length of my hair was pulled out.I had to resort to finish an incredibly patchy cut with my trusty Braun clipper.I can only think that the battery was bad and despite a full charge, wasn't retaining charge, the blades were indeed 'dull' or the motor fitted is just poor.Either was £60+, I feel seriously let down.Hard avoid would be my advice!

I bought this for my dad's Christmas as he had 2 previously that lasted a good few years. Its the only kind he likes and he couldn't find any more like it. I tracked it down on amazon and he was delighted. It gives a nice even cut all over and easy to use yourself.

I own a simular model to this device. Identical accept for the makers name. and the fact that my previous purchase was provided with an English charger/plug. Sadly the one sent to me from Amazon has been sent with a charger suitable for the American market? Not what I was expecting after purchasing an Item from the UK site with expectations of it being suitable for the UK market (power wise?)

Looks good but the time it takes to cut hair is too long. Blades not sharp enough, so it took several times, going over the same area before it would give an even cut.☹️

The electric plug, was not a three point plug. it was a european pluguseless for charging the shaver, in Great Britain.

Bought this for my brother, it saves him getting someone else to cut his hair. At first I thought it had done a terrible job as there seemed to be patches of hair it hadn’t cut, then it turned out it was hair it had actually cut but left on the scalp. After a shower it was apparent what a brilliant job it had done, and we were impressed by its performanceEasy to grip & use, results after washing hair are then evident. Very handy piece of kit

For start if you sell in the UK should come with three pin plug lucky had the other make which charging work on this model get UK adapter put proper charger. point out that on the other model dearer and came with trimmer you need cut around ears back head
