I camp regularly, however I always wavered over which tarp to get because they tend to be super expensive, so I used to use plastic sheeting from the hardware store. I have a trip coming up so I decided to finally get a tarp. I set this up in the backyard and was genuinely impressed at the quality of the material, stitching, and accessories (6 stakes, 6 tie downs). The tarp is very easy to set up with the loopholes on every corner, and one on each of the ridgeline tie out points. the bag they come in is of good quality, and I look forward to testing the waterproof capabilities of this tent. If I post an update, it's because I got soaked in a torrential downpour.10/10 would recommend buying.

This item was amazing, granted it didn’t rain that much but it was very windy and I felt totally protected. While others in a hammock we much more exposed I hardly notice a thing! The weight was not an issue, the only hang up is that it does take a bit to set up and sometime the stakes slip out of the holder.

Went on a weekend hiking excursion at Dolly Sods Wilderness in West Virginia and this canopy did a great job. We encountered rain, high wind and then sleet/freezing rain and it easily held up to the test. I would suggest to purchase some bigger stakes to anchor down the corners but other than that I will continue to use this product.

Used it on a 10 day hiking trip. Works great. Easy set up and covers a large area. We slept 2 hammocks and two guys in sleeping bags under it one night.

Great workmanship and quality materials! I have ridden out a couple of storms with this rainfly!

This product is mediocre at best. The stitching and quality is not very good. I can't speak to it's ability to shield you from the elements because I returned for a refund.
