Great replacement, easy to install

I felt like I needed to write this review given the other two on this product. The product received was as described. It fits well into Weinmann centerpull brake holders, as long as you get the right ones to fit your brake. I have Weinmann 61o Vainqueur 999 brakes that had 4 dot brake pads. These fit perfectly into the old holders once I got the old, dried, tough brakes out. No complaints, we'll see how they hold up.

Update: The issue appears to be resolved, the correct pad appears to be now shipping.For posterity:Be aware on this one. I was shipped KS-MRSA in KS-W4SA packaging. These two parts are not interchangeable. If you are expecting to receive Weinmann pads, make sure they have oblong/rounded square dots and two holes with a large dimple in between them. If you don't have that you don't have the right pads regardless of what the packaging says. I have returned them.

I bought these to replace the original 4-dot pads on a pair 1970s vintage Weimann center pull brakes. The were too small and did not fit.

I have reviewed other Kool-Stop replacement pads; they're great both because the pad material really works on rim brakes, and because they make a wide variety of replacement pads for vintage brake pad holders. I have some version of their pads on almost all of my extensive collection of vintage steel racing bikes. Don't know what I would use if they didn't make pads for the major older brake manufacturers.
