I’m very pleased with this fire it is a great feature in my sitting room l really like the flames feature which makes the room feel cosy and have used this every evening since l purchased at the end of October, if you don’t have a real coal fire this fire is a great substitute to any fire place.

I spend a lot of time in the dinning room working on hobbies. I thought heating that one room will be cheaper. As the weather has been mild I haven't work that out, but it looks good.However it doesn't have a remote control and the heater appears to work with a fan so it is not silent. But I am very pleased with my purchase.

I originally bought another, different brand electric log burner style heater on Amazon ( a cheaper one, and top rated, not too hard to figure out which one) - it was'nt bad, but with just the log burner effect on with no heating (our conservatory is quite warm usually), there was a really audible clicking noise from the log effect/led's running - really offputting when sitting in the quiet reading. So I returned it and bought this one, and I'm very glad I did. it was more than twice the price of my first (approx £130 compared to £50) but as they say, you get what you pay for. The build quality is fine, its very light, but does look like cast iron, and the legs once on are sturdy. The log effect is fantastic, especialy once dusk/night time sets in - for added effect, I added a slate hearth and the fake pipe (both from Amazon). the pipe is not attached to anything, its just sitting there. Lastly, I surrounded it with a few logs - it looks like the real thing and has fooled everyone who has seen it. THE BEST BIT - for that final "fooling effect", place an Amazon Echo or Dot nearby, and say "Alexa, play fireplace sounds". The illusion is complete!

Very realistic electric imitation stove, with 2 heat settings and variable flame control behind a panoramic mesh screen, we are absolutely delighted with our purchase.Yes, there are less expensive versions to be found on line, but we much prefer the panoramic feature and great flame effect, from the side view it even looks like there is smoke going up our chimney and we prefer the metal mesh screen to reflective glass, but each to their own.The variable, thermostatically controlled heater with all of the controls hidden behind the door of the stove, is very quiet and efficient at heating up our small lounge (24 m2) very quickly and cuts off when the desired temperature is reached. If you only want to have the nice adjustable flame effect on without the heater, that option is also available.Delivered in 48 hours, within the defined slot, well packed and only the four legs require to be attached (16 screws) and the stove is fully functional and good to go.A functional as well as aesthetically pleasing appliance, highly recommended!
