Excellent snow pants...love love
PRICE AND PURPOSE: For the price these are great and I was looking at other name brand snow pants for $257.00 - and took them back after ordering these as these were very comparable and basically the same - so so glad I found these at this price as saved so much money!I purchased to walk dog and blow snow in cold michigan weather. Tested out so far in 30 degree weather, and a nasty west wind - these pants kept me perfectly warm.FIT/SIZE: I am a size 10 in pants/pear shape and ordered the large vs medium as I wanted to slip these over pants I was wearing - leggings, jeans, fleece sweats - large was a good choice - fits a bit big but I prefer that and the medium would probably be tight over jeans (medium probably would be just right for my size with leggings only). These snow pants fit also high enough at waist where the cold air doesn't get under my coat - a huge plus in cold Michigan winters - nothing worse than feeling cold air on your back when your bending over with windshields that get down to 10 degrees or less in michigan! They are secured with a zipper, two snaps, and Velcro (so certainly won't slip off while moving) and loved the front leg pocket to put my phone in. They also don't make much swooshing noises (which I liked) like many snow pants do when walking - but they do make some noise.LENGTH: Only issue I have is I'm 5'3 and these are too long on me - wish they were shorter (not looking like I can get shortened because of bottom feature of pant has an interior elastic banded leg feature that fits inside the bottom of the actual outside leg - nice feature to keep snow out of the snow pants). However, I have to "rig" them up with the top of my boot tongues so they don't drag in the snow, slush, or slop of winter - so I found this very annoying....wish they had length options!Overall, love them and would recommend for those who want to stay warm without much "style" as they are slightly bulky but I expected that for the price and don't mind it. If your looking for style...probably need to pay the price for spyders brand. Bottom line to all - I would definately buy these again and highly recommend them.

Great purchase!
I am 4'11, 110 lbs, with pretty short legs and torso. I expected that an x-small would fit me perfectly but I ordered a size small in these pants because I wanted to be able to have room under to layer a bit. They just came and the waist come way up above my bellybutton. The hips are kinda large along with the waist. A belt seems to be holding it in place right now. I think I'm going to exchange for the extra small. Besides the fit I actually like the pants. They're very thick and warm and the 4 pockets are great (you know us girls aren't used to good sized pockets on jeans -__-). I really like these pants and I'm excited to use them for mid-January Catskill weather!I'll update this review on their performance then.UPDATE: I returned the small and got an x-small instead. This was a great idea for me because the waist fits a lot snugger, they're shorter, and the hips fir perfect. Although it's a smaller and more perfect fit, I still had no problems layering underneath. I was able to wear thermal leggings and thin sweatpants under. In terms of quality, these are absolutely great. I was outside for several hours at a time in teens weather and snow. With my layering, I was never cold; actually, I started sweating a bit with all the moving around. The pockets are all a great size. They're easily washable. My only slight issue was that the snaps in the front undid themselves very easily; and once they did, so did the zipper. I had to wear a belt because anytime I sat down or bent over the snaps popped right open. But it wasn't a huge deal because I had so many layers on top that my sweaters held the pants up anyway. Overall, I'm really really happy with my purchase. This is great quality for a great price and it's great to know I got these for $30 and change while other paid $60-$80 for the same quality with other brands. I can't wait to have a chance to use them again and I HIGHLY recommend these for anyone looking for a warm, waterproof, comfortable pair of snow pants.

Inexpensive pants for rare snow days
Purchased these last winter for unexpected snow storm when I needed water resistant pants quick. They were warm, stayed secured around the ankle, and did great for skiing! The only thing to note was that they were a bit short, but wasn’t noticeable because of the high snow boots.

Really decent product. Sizing is large by one size.
Yes, it is correct. The sizing is off. I'm 6' 3", 180 lbs and I wear a 32" waist. These pants (4 pairs so far) are warm, comfortable and fashionable. I'm a man who likes pink. These pants fit me just fine because I ordered one size down. The men's pants are the same. I would highly recommend these pants AND I will continue to buy them as an affordable alternative to the bigger brands. Arctix has a whole line of winter clothing worth checking out. These pants are very cheap for what you get. They aren't Ar'cterryx, but we already knew that. They are a great affordable snow pant.

First snow pants for suburban Seattle winters
I loved these snow pants! They fit great, and although I haven't had the opportunity to wear them during cold or snowy mornings yet, they are lined and have my approval at 58 degrees (this morning) on a walkabout for about 15 minutes outside. I am rather slender (recovering from breast cancer/lymphedema) at 5'3" and bought the black in size 4; I also have grey (discounted) in size 2. The grey are 'almost' tight but wearable, the black is 'more expansive in the waist' but I have two options on cold days. Washable! (gentle cycle/dryer tumble low). Note: Rainy day here and I wore them; they worked great and kept me warm. I just had to try them, so I think snowy mornings will also be warm and comfortable.
