Perfect Cold Smoker for Pellet or Gas Grill
I have a pellet grill, which is not capable of cold smoking items such as cheese or fish. I wanted to prep some cheeses for Christmas/New Year's, so I picked up this Hpory Smoker Tube. The tube is exactly as described, and is constructed from high-quality, durable stainless steel. I expect to use this many, many times without durability concerns.I don't have a propane torch, so I microwaved the top 1/3 of the pellets and was able to hold a BBQ lighter for 90-120 seconds to get a good flame going. I let it burn for 2-3 minutes and then blew it out. The tube provided consistent, clean smoke for ~4.5 hours, and I think the finished product speaks for itself. Highly recommended.

I'm impressed... Lasts the 5 hours it promises
I bought this to help my electric smoker cause the included box just didn't give consistent smoke under 200 degrees... Did a few test with my grill before putting it in my smoker and it's been awesome... Use torch to light pellets, let burn about ten minutes... Place in smoker and it slowly smokes for 5 hours steadily... See attached video for smoke after 3 hours it was going strong still

Does it's job
Works great. Lots of smoke. The description is accurate. I filled this 1/2 way, and it smoked for a good 2-3 hours. Much longer than the 1 hour I had my tri tip on. Full, I can see this easily producing 5 hours of smoke.
