I love the idea of these flip-flops: perforated holes like Swiss cheese, perfect for airing things out. Great, right? WRONG!!!!! Those holes act as little suction cups that suck on the foot skin, creating a painful feeling like someone is taking razors to your feet and slowly slicing away your epidermis. The material is nice and moist and squishy, which is good, but yeah...that suction feeling is strange and a bummer. They also fit like a 7 1/2 not an 8. It's fine. I can still wear them. But my heel kind of pours over the edge. My last flip flops--also an 8, fit like a true 8. And finally, the bottom of them, while grooved and notched, are a little slippery when wet. Meanwhile, most other flip flops grip a lot better when you walk in them. I've almost fallen flat on my back 4 or 5 times in these things. I'm too cheap to replace them with something else, but if I find regular flip flops at the 99 cents only store, I'm totes sending these back!!!!

I bought these specifically for use in the shower at the gym, and for that they are fine. I would not wear them anywhere else. They are a little snug in the straps, so hard to just slide your feet into. The sole is very "grippy" as I suppose a shower shoe should be, but walking on a tile floor outside the shower can be a little tricky since the shoes tend to stick to the foor. These are a little shorter than I expected (I wear size 8.5 and ordered a 9 which just barely fit).

These shoes are great for the shower. The holes make them very breathable and the fit is relatively comfortable. I ordered my regular shoe sizes and these flip flops fit just as expected them to. The strap is comfortable and unlike some other customers, my pair was spike free.While this may seem to be just me I found these flip flops to be a little heavy. This is quite possibly because the rubber is sturdy but this is just something I noticed. Overall I am satisfied with this shoe and would recommend it.

I purchased this product for my daughter who's going to college and needs shower flip-flops. I didn't read the reviews until after I submitted my order, which is unlike me. I was concerned at first with the negative review and then all the rest that were positive; however, they all were compensated in some way for their favorable reviews. I am pleasantly pleased that those reviews are all accurate, despite having been compensated.The shipping was lightening fast! I tried the flip-flops on myself, and I do not feel anything sticking out or hurting my feet at all. I can't say that I would wear these as everyday shoes, but my intent was shower shoes for my daughter, and they are absolutely perfect for that purpose. Now, I'm a size 8 and my daughter is a size 9, so I ordered these in a size 9. I then saw the reviews that said these run small. As I tried on her size 9 shoes with my size 8 foot, I found them a bit big. I would say these run right on size. These would have been too big had I ordered a size 9 for myself when I'm a size 8.I would absolutely recommend these flip-flops for shower shoes. They fit comfortably, and it appears that they will be sturdy on a wet surface, such as in the shower in her dorm. I have not been paid for my review and did not receive these shoes for free.

we bought these for a granddaughter going off to college , so she hasn't used them yet as shower shoes , they are nice and sturdy and " rippled "on the bottom so I think that will help with not slipping in the shower and dressing area , she tried them on and loved how they felt , the true test will be next month when she uses them everyday.I was concerned about spending this much money on "flip flops" but they are heavy duty , think I may get a pair for myself

These shoes are hilarious, and super functional. They do get pebbles stuck in them, but they're flexible so the pebbles also can popout easily. They're surprisingly comfortable, and while they don't have tons of arch support, they are really "cushy" and provide some great padding between your sole and the ground. These are a great buy, especially for the price.

This flip flop is the Cat's Meow!!! They are WONDERFUL. That said, they are rubber but they are a thicker type. I would say they are every bit of 1/2 inch thick and a bit heavy but they fit and feel great. THAT said...they do get your feet dirty because of all the holes but they are VERY comfortable. All THAT said they do make a loud flip flop slapping sound when you wear them. I will be buying more.

They're heavier than I'd like them to be for a shower sandal. They're also slippery when wet. I know flip flops aren't meant to be grippy, but again with it being a shower shoe, it'd be nice to know you won't easily slip when walking on a wet surface. I can understand what some people are saying about them being painful. With the holes, it causes weird pressure points on the bottom of your feet. I wouldn't recommend these, and would return them if I could.
