Needs tighter tolerances
I didn't measure it, but they seem to work great acoustically. I definitely trust a brand that specializes in foam and publishes performance specs over the generic brands that make a bunch of cheap junk including "acoustic foam." And this is much more reasonably priced than Auralex. My only complaint is that the average tile isn't square. I bulk ordered the charcoal tiles and a dozen colored ones. The length (in the direction of the ridges) is good (almost all 12"), but the width ranges from 12 to 12.25". This means that you end up with random 1/4" gaps when you put them together. I was able to fix most of them by trimming with scissors and hiding the rough edge against another panel. A few tiles were short (<12") and couldn't be fixed. Also a few tiles had air bubble pockets in the surface (cosmetic issue).Make sure you use a lot of adhesive when mounting these, I've had them fall down multiple times because I used small command strips or didn't use enough spray adhesive. No issues with decompression; everything expanded immediately when unwrapped.TLDR: acoustically good, but must be trimmed square if you want them to line up together

Very well for the price
Great color. Very interesting absorption properties, most noticeable on high and mid frequencies. Low end are more likely to be affected by the "killing" on the rebound sound than by panel properties. Good size and definitely good price, there is no mistake on buying extra ones if you need them. On the other hand, I would rather having this product with its own tape or mounting system. Double side tape won't let panel to be "totally" pasted on the wall (as it will be with adhesive spray) and you will need generous amount of that, but will work with no problems. Adhesive spray is better but expensive, so at the end, this will affect the final price for all of this. Size and shape are very convinient (thought a little bigger than it looks in the pictures). I'm considering buying more but still have to make more "sound testing".

Very disappointed by how thin the tiles are in the 'troughs'
I just received these and unpacked a couple. I have to say that thus far I'm very disappointed to see how thin the tiles are at the narrowest point between the 'peaks'; I estimate less than an inch thick. I'll update the review once I've tried them out, but based on what I see I have significant doubts about their ability to absorb some of the lower frequencies - the frequencies that I bought thicker tiles to address.

no tape
put 12 of them up (packs of 2) ...works great.would have been nice if I received the double-sided tape to adhere them to the wall. there were no tape in the box

Soundproofing :D
This wall foam works perfectly considering the fact that I installed this on my door and it keeps so much noise from going out especially at night time too so overall I highly recommend buying this product! This foam is the real deal if you want to buy wall foam I highly recommend Sound Assured.

It's okay (overpriced if you ask me).
It is nice thick foam, haven't installed yet to see the dampening effect. Just to let you know in case you're like me trying to strategically make a pattern out of these. The Charcoal (grey, black, whatever you want to call it), is SMALLER than 12" as advertised. The Blue is 12" however with the charcoal - nope no where near it, it's more like 11-3/4" on both ends.So keep this in mind before designing a pattern layout.

Great bang (less boom) for your buck!
These work exactly as they are designed to. Keep in mind that you will need other sound absorption/ defusing treatment in order for your room to sound right. For the money these can’t be beat, I’ll be ordering more of these in the future!

Good Foam Great price
I like this foam because a lot of adhesives stick to it. I have not tested the sound yet, but it seems like good foam for a good price !
