American Comfort ACW800CH 14000 BTU Portable Cool and Heat Air Conditioner

Cooled a larger area than specified. Not any louder than an in window unit and we didn't see a big difference in our power bill. My only complaints are when shipped one of the wheels was shattered and unusable and there is a dent on the front stainless steel face. Not a dent in, but out, as if something internal pushed out. Didn't effect operation at all and didn't merit a return. The heater blasts heat nicely, but requires the window tube still be in place. Not very efficient since the mounting trim is thin plastic. Hardly energy efficient. We probably won't use the heater function because of this. It would have been nice to know this prior to buying it.

SMALLER WINDOW UNIT COOED BETTER (12500 btu). Haven't tried heater yet.,

Unit worked for 1.5 years now no cool or heat.
