GuerlainSamsara Women EDP, Woody, 50 ml

I have used Samsara for 30 plus years, it was originally in a distinctive red bottle however Guerlain have now put this perfume into a bottle which is similar to many other perfumes they do. I don't care what bottle it is in as long as it still smells as it always did and it does.It is an old school 1980s heavy musky perfume, i just love these types of perfume, they initially pack a punch and you think oh boy that's just too heavy but the perfume soon settles into a powdery, musky oriental and most importantly it lasts almost all day. Spray this before a night out and you won't need to top up in the ladies.Not one for the faint hearted and i love it.

It smells nice and so does my wife.

This is a nice perfume lasts about two hours on me. People have said they like the perfume I wear. Would be better if the perfume lasted longer.

I usually buy Samsara Eau de Toilette but now find that it doesn't smell the same as the original, so I opted for the Eau de Parfum which lasts longer and is more like the original eau de toilette in strength. Pleased with my choice but I do wish they would return to the "old" formula.

Se il nuovo packaging e la nuova bottiglia ti fanno pensare ad una nuova edizioni che modifica la composizione del profumo, ti tranquillizzo subito. Il profumo è sempre lo stesso che Guerlain produce, hanno solo pensato di rendere più nuovo il contenitore.La fragranza è orientaleggiante e abbastanza dolce. Il profumo è molto anni '90 con le sue note legnosi che a me ricordano molto il sandalo è tra i migliori della sua linea.Inoltre è molto persistente ed è particolare. Sicuramente non è di quei profumi che dopo qualche ora non si sentono più.Aggiungo, visto che mancano in descrizione le Note olfattive:Le note di testa sono Ylang Ylang, Pesca, Bergamotto, Note Verdi e Limone;le note di cuore sono Iris, Gelsomino, Narciso, Rizoma di Iris, Rosa e Violetta;le note di base sono Sandalo, Vaniglia, Iris, Ambra, Fava Tonka e Muschio.Sinceramente è un profumo particolare che trovo più da signora che da ragazza, ma essendo i gusti soggettivi non posso non consigliarvelo.
