Great product and excellent price
Ordered these for upcoming skiing trip. This product worked excellent as advertised for cold weather base layer . Ordered XXL (wear XL) and still alittle tight but comfortable. Compression very apparent.

Warm but tight
Warm!! Always top quality with under armour. Purchased for husband for hunting trip, over a week with temps in teens and twenties. He was warm, so no complainig here! Super stretchy. We went exactly by the size chart, and they fit, but were extremely tight. We will order a size up for next year just to be a little more comfortable. Length hit a little above the ankle. Washed up perfectly.

Very tight. Size up?
My husband is a medium in everything and is slim. These compression pants are hard for him to get on (and off lol) and he says they arent very comfortable because of how tight they are... BUT he is a tower climber and he is keeping them because they keep him warm, even hundreds of feet in the air during winter. I think I'll get him another pair in a size up (L)

Great warm base layer
I wear these under my snow/ski pants. They have always kept me warm whether I'm sledding with my kids, shoveling/snow blowing, or skiing.

True to size, comfortable, inexplicable crotch design
These tights run true to size and are in the "midweight" insulation range, although they're on the light end of that. The design head scratcher to me is why they'd make the junk pouch mesh on a pair of tights meant to be worn in cooler weather. "I'd like less insulation there when it's cold outside please" said no guy ever. They are very form fitting and are comfortable though. If they made the crotch the same material as the rest of the tights and made them a bit warmer these would be solid five star territory. As it is, they're pretty flawed and there are better options out there at a similar price point.

Great "Coldgear" To Have
This is more of an informational note than full review. These type of leggings are used for all sorts of sports of which I don't use them for and can't speak to their usefulness for those purposes. I bought mine for running daily 5Ks followed by another 5K cool down walk -- literally ha ha.I'm 5'6", not skinny, not fat, not muscular, and on the higher end of the "normal" BMI weight range. The medium size fits me perfectly -- this is my usual size for UA fitted and compression clothes. It's snug but does not strangle and I'm not begging to get out of them when I return from my routine. They are comfortable as far as compression tights can be.The interior is fleece lined. I have other pairs of "cold gear" tights that are not lined but work just as well, but it does add to the comfort I think. I wear these in temps between 30-45 (not including any windchill factor). Even with a 25 windchill they keep me warm. My usual routine is an hour long, but only 25-30 min of that is running. The rest is walking which I'm not generating as much body heat. I think that says a lot about these leggings. My only "beef" with these -- or any other compression leggings -- is that they are too long for my short legs, but probably not an issue for 99% of the population. I try to buy 3/4 leggings but they are a rare bird for men in a winter design. But despite the length the excess doesn't get in the way since I wear jogger pants over them. Finally, I would note these seem to be intended as a base layer and not to be worn solo. The crotch area is "breathable" and a bit see though. So at a minimum you need to wear shorts over these.

Wicks sweat very effectively, and leaves you feeling clean and dry and warm.
I work in flood rescue, and needed something warm and comfortable to wear under a drysuit that would also wick moisture away from my skin. It also needed to be completely flat on the skin without rubbing. These tights are perfect. The are lovely and plush against the skin, and do a great job of moderating my body temperture. They keep me warm, but dry and not sweaty. Espcially good is the ventilated gusset which is an area that, working hard in a drysuit, tends to get a bit damp. These keep your bits cooler while keeping your legs warm. It does mean though that these are strictly underwear tights - you need to wear at least a pair of shorts over them. The material itself is not waterproof, but it dries very quickly and wicks moisture away from the skin very effectively. It keeps my skin dry even when the lining of my drysuit is starting to get a bit damp from my body heat. They don't hold any smell, and, once dry, can be reused without washing without feeling disgusting.I've other tights that cost several times as much as these UA ones, but these are the ones I keep in my kitbag. Very good indeed.(If you found this review helpful, I'd love it if you let me know with a click below. Thanks!)

Great for Outdoors, Warm & Comfy. But Sizing is Slightly Small, Go A Size Up.
I got my first pair of ColdGear UA leggings to wear under my jeans this winter. With my jeans, it did well to keep my legs comfortable in temperatures around 5 degrees celcius, UK winter. Occasionally my legs feel slightly chilly when its colder, say 0 degrees with wind. Hoping to wear it with shorts for a cold morning run; having had it for a week it seems very suitable for that task.I measured myself as an M, but my friend who's around my size but with slightly skinner legs had a UA legging and said that M was quite tight for him. I thought this might just be because it's "compression", but I wanted to be sure so I bought both M and L. Turns out M was definitely uncomfortable. The legging is sleek and fits like a second skin, I can easily put on skinny jeans over it. With size L, I can feel the compression. It makes me feel kind of bouncy. Wearing it for several hours it left a faint line where the seams pressed against my skin, demonstrating the compression. There was extra room in the crotch so it was very comfortable in that regard too.I also bought the HeatGear Compression Legging as some reviews mentioned that it could be used as a thermal layer and that it could be used for running in the cold. I wasn't sure if I was going to overheat in the ColdGear, but having tried the HeatGear legging (I felt to cold to leave the house), I definitely need the ColdGear to get me out in the winter morning. I definitely would not wear it for indoors training or during the summer though.Overall I'd say it's a brilliant product. It looks good, it's comfortable, warm, sleek; does its job. I bought it on Cyber Monday for around 15 pounds, I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay more than that to be honest. I don't spend much on clothes, but I'm glad I made this purchase. Definitely have at least one sporty thermal legging.

Even the bigger size is way too tight
I bought this recently for my other half. He is very slim and normally wears medium size as he likes things comfortable and not too tight. I did consider buying the medium size but opted for the large. Due to Covid, I washed the item first before he tried it on.Although it was the larger size it was still too tight on the waist and legs. Much more like ladies really thick tights. There is also no opening on the crotch. He is convinced that they are meant to be for women! I have wasted my money on them as he finds them too uncomfortable and because I have washed them first I am not sure that I can return them. It is a real shame as he has had a pair for years which now need replaced and he never had any of these problems with the first pair.

Under Armour never disappoints
I purchased one pair of these leggings to use for my MTB riding. All I can say is that I am not disappointed. Comfortable to wear and sweat dries away quickly without causing the wearer to get cold. Made with the quality I have come to expect from UA. Already have another pair on order. Well worth the money.
