Does the job
This product does what it needs. I used it as a secondary breaker where the main is a 60 amp fuse but every time I blow my subs the fuse blows and there goes 5 more bucks so I installed this one inside my car so when it pops it doesnโt blow the fuse and I can also reach and reset it in my car

30a item keeps popping at 15a
If you lok at the reviews you'll quickly figure out that this breaker is rubbish. It keeps popping the breaker at much lower than rated current. I also found a youtube video where he explained the issue. This type of breaker is "thermal" type, which means that it will pop when it heats up. That said, it ight pop prematurely, if put into a warm enclosure.Mine is rated at 30A, but it trips at about 15A. If you pass 15A for a short time, it's ok, but if you leave it for 10 or 20 minutes it will pop. It never used to do this, but after 1 year, now it is popping routinely at 15 amps. This is not a one-off event. Last year, I had to replace this breaker because it went open-circuit. It worked ok for 1 year, then it went open-circuit, even with the breaker closed. Stetion replaced it for me for free.Separately, I had another thermal-type fuse, 200A for my main breaker, and it had the exact same issue. It used to work, then after 1.5 years, it started to pop prematurely, at around 100 amps. The vendor sent me a replacement and it's been fine ever since. Now, this new 30a breaker is starting to fail. It worked normally the last 1 year, but now it is popping at 15 amps when it never used to do that.I contacted Stetion about it and they said that since it was a "thermal-type" breaker, it can pop prematurely if it gets warm. Since it was a bit more than 1 year old, they did not give me any warranty service. So I went to Amazon, and ordered a 40a breaker. The idea is to get some 'headroom' to allow this thing to do its job. 40a is correct to protect the 10Gauge wiring, even though it will never see more than 25a flowing. This item gets 2 stars and that is GENEROUS. So, buyer beware. These things go bad, and they go bad quite often. If a better one existed, i'd buy it, but the fact is, these thermal-type breakers are finnicky, and there is no alternative. So if they start to go bad, replace it.

I like it
Be sure to check the power rating you need to support before ordering. I bought this to run two 12โs powered by an amplifier with 3X 25 amp fuses. After a few accidental grounds I got tired of replacing the fuses. With this, I just reset the โbreaker.โ

Handy that comes with Allen wrench.

Great DC breaker
Great breaker! Feels sturdy, trips right above 50A sustained. The twisting cable glands are nice but I had to put a couple layers of electrical tape on the wire's insulation to get a good seal on 6awg conductors.
