If you’re not familiar with eye cabochons, from what I can gather, there are two types: the first is handmade, where the back of the glass is hand painted & cured in layers & quite expensive to buy as a result, or the second type (like these) where the eye design is printed onto some sort of card stock & stuck onto to the back of the glass, rendering them much cheaper to produce. (See first pic)This is a lovely set of cabochons for the price, they’re also a good size, & varied in design, with a nice selection of each in the pack.My only quibble with them is that a couple of the designs (See second pic) almost look like the card has been attached to the glass before the ink was quite dry, it gives the impression that the pupil part has “bled” out into areas that it shouldn’t have, these don’t look quite as perfect as the other designs, but still adequate for the purpose, for all I know, they might be meant to look like that, but I don’t like them quite as much as the others, which definitely have a crisper, sharper finish. (See third pic)The last couple of pictures are representative of how I use them, as part of my polymer clay designs, they withstand being baked in the polymer clay without any problems.Overall, I’m happy with my purchase, all of the designs are perfectly usable, although I do have my favourites, & a pack of this quantity should keep me busy for quite a while. When I do run out, I would definitely purchase these again, I just wish they did them in even larger sizes.

These are a great alternative to other craft eyes. They have a realistic look to them when used.
