These keto strips have lasted longer than any others I've used. I don't use up the full jar by the expiration date, and whereas some other brands have become non-functional before the expiration time, these have lasted a significant period after it, which saves me having to throw out a bunch each time I've bought them. When I've bought them, their price was always very good as well. Also, the customer service has been fast and great--they're really quick to answer questions (and actually read and respond to the actual question, which doesn't always happen), and seem to function in total agreement with Amazon's customer-centric policy, wanting first and foremost to have a happy, satisfied customer...which I definitely am, after repeatedly purchasing their keto strips.Follow up review 7-30-21: I've been buying these strips through Amazon since April of 2019. I can't recall why I initially switched to them, but once I tried them I stuck with them, because the strips lasted longer than the others I'd used--sometimes past the date, once the container's opened, that they shouldn't have kept working (I'm not that conscientious about measuring my ketones, so the bottle often lasts longer than it would if I were consistent), and the readings matched the variations in my diet and were otherwise reliable-seeming. In addition, so far as I've checked, they seem to consistently have the best prices, but I haven't made a fetish of it, so I may be mistaken in this. The other thing is, as I mentioned in a previous review, I was very impressed with their customer service, based on their responses to questions I had. But my latest purchase brought with it the first problem, albeit a small one, I ever had with an order of these strips, and now I am more impressed than ever with the company. The problem was so small I wouldn't have even written them on my own behalf, but they'd seemed so desirous of attaining excellence in all areas, I figured they might want to know about the irregularity. So I wrote them, just to tell them about it, and they responded by giving me a refund I hadn't even asked for! They told me I didn't need to return the product, and didn't even just write to tell me they were going to give me a refund-- they wrote and said they'd already done it, said not to worry about going through the hassle of returning the product, and apologized. If you'd ever told me I'd be excited about a ketone strip company, I'd've fallen over laughing, but this company has turned me into a fan, because they are so utterly committed to customer satisfaction and the best possible product at an excellent price.

I wasn't impressed with these ketone strips. I found them difficult to use. I'm not sure they were accurate.

I did the keto thing with the hubby for 6 months...gain 2lbs he lost 30. Thought about family history with type I diabeties, thyroid and adrenal issues and wondered if the standard "formula" for fat, carbs and protein was sufficient for me... obviously if I did not loose weight, something was wrong. So, after logging food for 3 days to make sure I was within the standard keto diet plan, I used one of the strips and marginal ketones. Barely a shade difference. So I cut carbs from recommended 30 to 20 and increased fat and protein a bit and 3 days later I retested and had moderate ketones. I test every 2 days for past 10 days and stay between moderated and one shade up. I finally lost 5lbs. So now that I dialed in where I NEED to be with eating, that visual check is nice, especially around holidays. I just discovered if I drink a health scoop of metamucil and eat a handful more of pork rinds, that I can endulge on a 2"x2" piece of cake or 2 pieces of sees candy and still stay in moderate range. So this strips also help me with little "cheats". Let's face it, we live to eat and live to eat, but finding personal limits, especially when you have some disability issues that keep you from being as active as you might have been in past years, and instead of 3-4 times a week on treadmill, you are purposeful with one good 20-25 minute walk once a week and do rubber band strength training 2-3 days a week for 20-25 minutes, we as humans need visual confirmation of being honest with ourselves, especially when dieting or just trying to eat a specialized diet for health needs. These ketone strips provide basic and pretty accurate feedback to assist a person with both their dietary eating as well as being benificial to diabetics or person's with kidney issues to do a little home monitoring.I love "at home tools" that empower me to be more in charge of my health.

I just started this Keto diet thing, which involves cutting out ~most~ carbs/sugars/starch and replacing them with fat and protein. The joke is that you should stop eating pizza and candy, but you can eat all the cheese and bacon you want. It's not that simple, but that's part of the general idea. The fat takes longer to burn into calories, so you avoid the ups and downs of starch/sugar bringing you up and then crashing as it's depleted. Anyway, the strips have a tiny patch that you're supposed to pee on, and then compare to 6 shades on the bottle. Or 6 shades on the box the bottle came in. As the headline says, the first several weeks, my shades didn't match anything, on the bottle or the box. It's also disappointing that the box and bottle don't match each other, especially since it's those colors you're supposed to be matching up with your strip. A few times I have matched somewhat, but for the most part (80%+), I feel I'm wasting my time/money on these strips. I've lost a little weight, but I wouldn't know it if I went by the strips instead of a scale. I'll try another brand when this runs out. Oh, you get about 120 to the bottle, so testing in the morning and evening means you've got 2 month's worth. The expiration date is just about that far off, so don't plan on saving these as party favors. If you do, you must be throwing some strange parties....:-)
