Ive purchased several items from this company (Hide & Drink) and they are all really high quality leather goods. I’m trying to create the habit of carrying the Field Notes with me to jot down the important things, and this leather cover has helped me do it. It rustic and cool looking like I’ve been carrying it for years. But there’s no way it’s going to wear out. But the thick leather is really well treated like a nice leather jacket. I will keep buying items from this maker.

Another great Hide and Drink design, this is an excellent cover if you like Field Notes or similar sized notebooks. The leather is supple and attractive, and thick enough to hold up well.There is a pocket for cards or receipts, and enough room for a slim pen or pencil.Classy enough for a suit, rugged enough for jeans, I liked it enough to by a second one in brown.

Smells like a new baseball glove. Good quality leather for an inexpensive item. My reason for giving it 4 stars is that it's slightly bigger and bulkier than I expected. Definitely not a front-pocket item, so I probably won't be using it, actually.

I absolutely love this company! I have used their waxed canvas one for a while now at work. I got this one to use in my personal life and I use a field notes book and it fits perfectly with enough space to keep a few cards and a pen inside!

I'm not sure this item even needs a review. I love everything about it. Fits a field notes as advertised and feels great in hand and while writing in it. I'll buy several others in different colors to be sure, if I haven't already by the time you're reading this...

The leather is very good. Unfortunately, there is no stiching on the outer edge and it adds unnecessary bulk.

Great note cover. Real leather. Only thing I wish was that the black I ordered was darker. It’s more like a charcoal gray but otherwise it’s really nice.
