There are only 2 of us. However, the 2 backpacks contain materials for 4 people. This is appreciated because we have elementary school-aged grandchildren that are often with us and may be when an emergency arises. Especially appreciated is the materials to purify water as water is needed by everyone on a daily basis and is more important than food. In Minnesota we do not have hurricanes or wild fires. The bags were purchased to be used in the event evacuation would be necessary to survive gas leaks, military invasions or persecutions of any nature. Included with the emergency materials is a booklet giving excellent advice and suggestions to include other things in the backpack and where to store it. It's much better than my "homemade" "to go" emergency bag.

The kit contains food and water, and other emergency necessities, such as air filter masks, eye goggles, and toilet paper, if one is caught without the bare minimum, to survive anywhere. The backpack is compact and portable, with room inside to add more items, such as some clothing. I keep mine in my car in case the need arises when I am away from home. Good quality of backpack and kit items.

If your looking for an emergency survival kit that comes with most of your essentials at a decent price, this is good purchase. It weights a little over 11lbs. The material of the backpack is not preference, but it holds what it needs.

Have always trained the kids and my wife to have a "Get Home" bag in their car, in case of emergencies. This bag has all of the basics needs, along with water and food.

One of those things you hope never to use but if we do it seems to be a good choice. Products seem decent and will get the job done.No bag has everything but there is room to add some other things that are particular to our needs. But for the price a good value.
