My iPad

I found this book at Cosco. I liked it because it is simple and easy to read. Around the same time i bought my parents the Ipad Mini. I told my dad about the book and he wanted one. When i went back to Cosco they didnt have anymore. So i decided to check Amazon ( i shop here a lot ) and not thinking Amazon would have this book. I was VERY happy to find it here! I of course ordered it for my parents ( i live in Minnesota and my parents live in Michigan) and had it delivered to my parents. It was delivered ontime, no problems, and my parents are happy and so was i! Thank you Amazon for your excellent delivery service and a wide variety of products to chose from!! I feel safe shopping on your site too!! Please continue with what you are doing! Thank You Amazon!

This book is laid out in a logical manner and provides you with a virtual 'hardcopy' version of the on-line Mac User's Guide. It does not go much beyond that, but as we all know, on-line guides are a pain to deal with, especially when you want to go back to another page but keep the one you are looking at open.The writing style is not overly technical, and the book is nicely illustrated with appropriate explanations of the operation of the iPad. Unfortunately, as so often is the case, although the author advises you that he welcomes questions from 'the audience out there', don't expect to get a reply from him if you e-mail him a question. Most likely, again as in so many cases, he gets so many questions either on his book, or on the iPad in general, that he is unable to answer most of them, so don't bother.

CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS, EXCELLENT DIAGRAMS, EASY TO UNDERSTAND. WILL OFTEN FIND MYSELF REFERRING TO IT AFTER THE INITIAL READING..SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE PACKAGE WITH THE IPAD. HAVE RECOMMENDED IT TO SEVERAL FRIIENDS.THE INDEX MAKES FINDING ITEMS REAL EASY. THE WHOLE BOOK IS ORGANIZEAD IN A LOGICAL MANNER STARTING WITH THE BASIC "HOW TO TURN IT ON" ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE MANY THINGS THAT YOU CAN DO WITH IT.BUY IT AND EnJOY!!!.

While not new to Apple products I am new to the iPad and found this book helpful for many things. I found it to be very easy to understand....the writing is not too technical and should be very helpful for someone new to Apple products and software.

I gave this book to my mother and father as a gift. The book came on time and was in the promised new condition. There are a lot of pages to the book which is a good thing. I would recommend this seller to others. I did not have any problems with the seller. It was ordered and delivered on time in great condition. :-)

You might want to get this to find the answer quicker than trial and error on your IPad. Some things I would never have figured out without browsing this book.

Bought this for my husband when he got his new iPad. It is a clear, concise guide for becoming acquainted with the iPad. Explanations are easy to follow.

bought it for my iOS 7 mini ipad and it's been pretty helpful considering Apple does not provide a manual. Rosenzweig does a good job.

.........but I might be selling it very soon as a "hardly used book" because I seemed to know more than I thought I would.To be honest hubby bought it for me shortly after I bought my i-pad because I didn't think I'd know what to do with an i-pad..........being a pensioner and all. lol. Scarey new technology for me which is a bit crazy considering that I started online shopping many years ago on my first wonky/dial up PC. My son was still at school and we bought the "barebones" of a pc desktop set up x2 and he built both machines. He was about 15 at the time and I'd never shopped online before in my life. lol.It was a wonderful experience though and that was what sold me to on-line shopping. Since then I've bought masses of stuff on-line and.....touch wood......never been scammed or had a bad experience.I think it was just a case of getting to know new technology with the i-pad. Once I'd learned what an "app" was everything became much clearer.Two of my three kids are techy heads and even my 9 year old grandson is but you know what kids are like.......too busy to actually show us older folks things. I think my lot assumed that because I was allready pc savvy then I would also be i-pad savvy and I was determined to bluff my way through to them.....and I have! lol.I won't sell my book just yet though because it does look like a really good book and I must find time to actually go through it. What bits I have read do make sense to me and because of that I will recommend this book to any new i-pad user as a good source of information. :-)

I bought this under the pretence for my 74 year old mother to use as she has got down with the kids and joined the revolution that is the iPad. It's all very well when my 23 and 25 year old children and their friends 'show' her what to do, but as they are working at the speed of light and don't do 'slow' for "Old people" (those considered over 28), this is a useful handy guide to dip in and out of. Not all sections are relevant, but there is a lot to learn with these gadgets and gizmos and this is a useful little guide....and I confess, I have consulted it on several occasions, too.

This is an excellent book for anyone with an iPad. It's so easy to look up something you are having difficulty with and the pictures make it easy to see if you have got I right. Well worth the money and I do refer to it a lot.

A good package however the touch pen is weak but the screen saver is vital however the cover fits very well unfortunately the durability of the outer cover is proving that it is not strong enough to sustain the amount of committee meetings that I endure.

A handy book size with clear, coloured illustrations that give step by step instructions for getting the best out of the iPad. It also gives full details on the Apple iWork suite of applications, namely, Pages, Numbers and Keynote, which have to be purchased separately for the iPad.
